I decided to make a new thread to not clog up our other one.

Alright, do you want to be the spotter first or should I?

I'm willing to give it another try to see if the website is working better for me. I used my Facebook account earlier, so I'll use my Google account now.

Ohhh so that was what you were talking about when you meant the site, I thought you meant this forum. I haven't tried it yet today, so I'll let you know how it runs after we do this first round.

LOL yeah I meant GeoGuessr itself. Oh, the site knows it's me even though I changed accounts, so I can't use the Google Maps version. Could do the free version, but when I tried that earlier, I couldn't read any of the signs.

I didn't even realize there was a difference between free and paid until I actually looked into it tbh. I can be the spotter first then if you're good with that.

I didn't mess around with the free version for very long, so I don't know if there are other differences besides sign legibility. Go for it.

I have no idea where I am. There are a lot of houeses, mostly made of red bricks. There's a whole lot of grass, it definitely isn't a traditional city like the states, a lot of dirt roads and no streets as far as I can tell.

Wow I didn't know you could get a spot with no normal streets. You can keep track of the directions you move here. Let me know if you find any signs or anything else useful.

Nvm, just found a street, and some sort of building. It says João-de-barro Construções on it, and then on the other side it says Lages Sousa, under it it also says Trilhos e Lajotas

I found another building that says Ed Maria Eduarda 214

I saw a sign that said Beatos, I think, which might be the street name?

I saw a sign that has a right arrow pointing to a place called Jocum Cariri, which might be a city.

João-de-barro Construções is a Brazillian company. I don't think anything else on that sign is helpful. There's a museum in Crato, Brazil named Beatos, though it could be a street in some other town.

I literally came to a dead end. The last resturant/store I see is a place called ?.?. Eventos 418. The first two initials are a bit hard to read because of the cursive, but I think it might be L.E or I.E. or maybe even J.E? After looking at it more I'm pretty sure the second inital is E at least.

Googling Jocum Cariri gets results for Jocum Sertão, which is also in Crato.

At least I know what country I'm in now. I'm starting to go the other way now, and there's this building called 43 Dr.Clcero (it also has some weird text on the side that says Bebeto 19123)

I want to try pinpointing the location now. Where in Brazil is Crato? That's probably a good starting point.

Bebeto 19123 also gets Crato results.

OK, I found another side on the other end which says to turn left to get to Geossitio Batateiros Sitio Fundão.

The closest thing I found was a city called Crateús. Is that just another name for the city or is it something completely different all together?

Going to pinpoint some of the locations near you.
