Ahahahaha! Ladies and gentlemen has this not been a Quarter Quell to end all Quarter Quells? So many have fallen. So many have persevered. And yet as we all know, the game does not end until one pair remains. I know that you are all waiting to see what our Tributes will be doing this time in the Eliminator... So let's get started.
Sponsored by the wonderful Encyclopedia Capitol, this game will test their ability to chain information together. It is a lot like laying the tracks for a train of thought, if you will indulge the figure of speech. This is called the Wiki-Game.
When the Tributes are ready to begin, they will be given links to 10 Wikipedia articles via submitting this Google Form. Their objective will be, starting with one article, connecting into a second, and ending on a third, to find a sequence of hyperlinks that visits all three. Every page that they visit must be unique. So for instance if I were trying to connect articles about "Katniss Everdeen," "Lion's Gate Entertainment," and "Jeffrey Wright," I could not choose the following route:
"Katniss Everdeen" -> "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" -> "Lion's Gate Entertainment" -> "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" -> "Jeffrey Wright"
I could, however, use this one:
"Katniss Everdeen" -> "The Hunger Games" -> "Lion's Gate Entertainment" -> "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" -> "Jeffrey Wright"
Note how I do not connect back into the same article.
As for links you are allowed to use, our tech department has created this helpful visual aid:
Not Allowed (Red): Anything outside of the article itself, along with any external links (anything with the symbol next to it) - you may not leave Wikipedia on this hunt!
Won't help you (Orange): These aren't always clearly marked, but some links will take you to an edit page. If you follow one of these, just go back - needless to say, you may not edit articles.
Allowed (Green): Anything that's internal to wikipedia, even if it's a meta page (like the Wikipedia Stub article) or a Category Page (the green links at the bottom) are allowed! Just make sure you don't visit the same one twice, and write down every page in your sequence.
A couple final rules:
1. Each tribute must make 2 chains that each utilize 3 of the original items. You may order these items in your chains as you please.
2. No 2 chains can use any of the same original 10 items in them (e.g. in the example above, you couldn't use Katniss Everdeen in both chains, but you could use it in one).
3. The Tribute in each Pair who completes this challenge in the shortest time will survive.
May the odds be ever in your favor!

4. The length of the sequences will only matter in the case of a tiebreak. The tribute submitting the average shortest chain length will win in that case.
