Most esteemed Victor! You are here to compete for a second time in a game for the chance to prove you are the best of the best. By entering yourself into the Quarter Quell, you have already proven you have the heart to compete with the best of the best. It's time for you to claim your title!
You can use this confessional for any reason, whether its to vent or gather your thoughts away from your partner.
In addition, should you face the unfortunate need to enter the Eliminator, you will be requested to occasionally give challenge submissions here. Otherwise, use this as you see fit.
May the odds be ever in your favor!

We here at the Capitol, know it can be a bit...difficult to relate to people right off the bat. It's all such a wild adventure before the real games get started! I've decided to personally spare some of my time in order to help you get started. Chins up, smiles on!
1. How do you feel about your character choice? Do you feel like you can embody the spirit of the victor you've been chosen to portray? Or are you going to just make a whole name for this former winner? 2. Have you had a chance to read the rules? If not, I recommend doing that. If so, what do you think of the Eliminator element to this game? Does this intimidate you or are you excited to prove your skillz? 3. What do you think is the best approach to the first 48 hours? Are you gonna focus more on social bonds or are you going to try super hard in the challenge? What are you specifically hoping for in a partner? Do you want someone who matches you or balances you out? 4. What kinds of challenges are you hoping to see in this competition? Do you think there is a certain type you would be more suited for? Is there a type you are dreading to see? 5. What is the most exciting aspect of this game to you? What are you hoping to get out of this experience? Do you think you have a good shot at winning? What sorts of things do you think you can do to improve your odds to do just that?

I am only going to follow one player's confessional at a time. I will be VERY invested in this one player. Why should this player be you? Please note that I am a specbot that likes in depth discussion of relationships and strategy.
So why should you get my rose?

Please note that I am a specbot that likes in depth discussion of relationships and strategy. So why should you get my rose? Did you say in depth discussion of relationships and strategy? Oh man, you came to the right confessional for that. See, as much as I try to be the smooth, charismatic, demigoddess from the best game ever run on this site, that's all an act. That charm, that diplomacy, the negotiation and careful turns of phrase... those are tools and attributes of mine, but those aren't me. For in the end, I am the Survivor terminator! I'm a ruthless allying machine with a head for numbers and a tally for votes. I'm four parallel universes ahead of your strategic analysis, and my snarky comebacks are faster than half an A press. Seriously though, while my confessionals do often contain a lot of snark and unadulterated despair, they always contain analysis. I know how much I enjoy it as a spectator or fellow player, so I make sure to provide when I'm in the hot seat. And I always answer spectator questions. Speaking of which, answers to Effie's questions soon to come.

What are you hoping to get out of this experience? Do you think you have a good shot at winning? What sorts of things do you think you can do to improve your odds to do just that? 1. I think I'm the second or third most qualified person to play Gilly on the site. Actually living up to her legacy is a tough act to follow (not least because it would require outright winning this game), but I'll put on a good show. 2. The eliminator element is fascinating. It's nice to have a second chance at life through winning the challenge, but I still intend to do everything in my power to avoid being up on that block. The more interesting aspect of this is how it'll affect votes and immunity winner choices. See, any time you pick a pair for elimination, half that pair is coming back for revenge, and you don't know which half! This adds huge amounts of downside to previously standard tactics such as remorselessly stabbing your victim of choice, or freezing someone out by not PM'ing them before a voteoff. I have no idea how people are going to handle this. It'll be interesting, that's for sure. 3. Social bonds. It isn't even a question. For a partner, I want someone who matches me, heavy on the social, decent on the challenge. I don't really want to be seen as a challenge threat to be targeted, and I also don't want someone who's guaranteed to stomp me if we end up in the eliminator challenge. Someone who I can plot with, scheme with, and actually trust to have my back is exactly what I want out of this. 4. Hm, interesting question. I'm not sure. Puzzles are probably best for me, as I'm at least decent at those. I'm also decent at arcade games, but certain players have put way, way more time into those than I ever will, so I doubt I'd actually win those. The one thing I specifically don't want to see is endurance challenges. I don't have the time for that any more, and I've never had the motivation for them. 5. The altered social game is fascinating, and what I'm hoping to get is just some fun playing a survivor without completely wrecking my schedule for the next few months. As for winning... I think it's unlikely. I can social with the best of them, but my challenge play is merely average, maybe a little better. I'm worried about just getting outclassed in that department towards the end. We'll see, I guess.

Hello and welcome to the game, after surviving my own hunger games I'm now super excited to watching you guys battle it out to the death.
I'm a bit of a betting man and I wanna place some early bets as to who is gonna win so I'd love to get to know some of you a bit more so here's some starter questions for you:
1) Do you have a starting game plan and if so, what is it? 2) How will you determine your rankings of other players? 3) If you win the game, what will you do with the money 4) If you could partner with any spectator who would it be? P.s there is a right answer 5) Tell me a joke/pun about your character

Here we go, the preference list! People I think I can work with the best are at the top. - Ulysses
- Kirby
- Ted Cruz
- Susan
- Tetra
- River Song
- Fenrir
- Stitch
- Zod
- Pikachu
- Coco Pommel
- Tracer
- Tapu Lele
- Birdo
- Shuichi Saihara
- 12
- Shadow
- Donald
- Wenya Zhu
- Star Worn By Verka Surduchka
- Beetlejuice
- Montreal Impact
- Harbinger
I should probably explain this list, huh? The first ten or so are basically the good PM'ers I've come into contact with, and it's a pretty good proxy for "who I've talked to the most". Ulysses, Kirby, Ted Cruz, and Susan are all pretty great, and I'd like to ally with all of them if possible. (Discussions are moving in that direction with varying speeds.) For that matter, pretty much anyone in the top half of the list is someone I could see working with to some degree. Tracer is probably the last person I'd really be happy with as a partner. Below that, we've got the people who haven't been as good PM'ers, then the ones I haven't talked to at all. Harbinger and Montreal Impact bottom the list for not replying to my messages sent around game start. Yes, this is a very brief analysis. There's really nowhere near enough information to do a full in depth analysis yet. Heck, there's still a good six people or so I haven't talked to at all, so this list might change.

It's hard and time consuming, but it's the best way to figure out who to ally with and to start making those allies. 2) Basically by who's good in the social game. My number one concern is that I want my partner to be someone who's active and that I can plot and scheme with. 3) Invest in the stock market. I've got a feeling hummus is gonna be big. 4) Zoroark. He can pretend to be the mods if I need emergency backup. 5) Whenever I want to see a joke, I just look in the mirror.

So I'm with Kirby? I'm really okay with this. I'm also really amused that we managed to tie the score somehow. Is it over the top to call this fate?
