Another round, another set of questions! 1) So district 12 made it out of the eliminator still as a whole district, is this good or bad for your gameplay? Would you have preferred a different district, or maybe a combination of people from different districts? 2) Another double elimination round, does this change your plans at all? If you win in this round, what's your first pick for sending to the eliminator? 3) Now that most of the inactives/quiet players are gone, how safe are you feeling, how do you ensure you're not voted into the eliminator this round, which districts do you feel wouldn't send you in automatically? 4) Last round I did a bunch of personalised questions, tbh it took a long time to come up with a question for each of you and I'll probably do it again in a future round when there's less players but for now, I want you to come up with a question. Each round my 4th question has always been a silly question in the hopes of getting funny and entertaining answers, could you please provide a non-game related question that could provide a set of funny answers for me to use in future rounds. 5) Answer your own funny question. 1) That was, not ideal at all. I mean I guess we're fine with Tetra and Wenya but fucking hell, Shadow and Pikachu did not deserve that at all and they murdered them all. Like that was a fucking terribly played round for a lot of folks I feel, but whatever. 2) BIG MOVES! BIG MOVES! BIG MOVES! TIME TO MURDER 4 PLEASE LET US MURDER 4. OR MAYBE WE CAN VOTE 4 IN AND PICK 3 IF WE WIN ELIMINATING SOME VERY DANGEROUDS PAIRS. 3) I'm not sure any send us in automatically, we might become a default pick by elimination of people people like by 12, 9 or 4 so that's disconcerting but I think there are people they get along with less than us. We're probably gonna try and swing a vote onto 4 if possible and rely on our connections with 3,7,8 and 10 in order to form a majority here. 4) "How do you feel about specs offloading their god given duty to ask questions to the players themselves and get them out of not one but two questions" 5) I don't like it one bit, one question I get, but two...seems sneaky

Yeah, I'm a bit dissapointed by my challenge showing. None of those puzzles were particularly hard. The sudoku required a lot of entering stuff in but it wasn't even that difficult. Clouds was a lot of fun but I should have been faster on it. Dots might be one people have trouble with but it just required some luck and guessing. I know I'm trash at cryptograms so I can't even register whether anyone else would have trouble on that one but I didn't complete it. Honestly I'd be fine with my performance if I didn't waste like, over half my time on that ABC puzzle, which was hard yes, but only because I kept making the same mistake over and over again instead of walking myself through it. Like all you had to do was go like "okay what positions lead to contradictions" and start with the first row and move down. A process I didn't use until 10 minutes or so were left and then it took like 6 minutes. I can't imagine someone else not discovering that trick faster than me even if they also messed up the cryptogram, and if I discovered it sooner maybe I would have also been able to complete the cryptogram given I know how they work well, just, words don't come to me with spaces or anything.
Also if I had known it was 5 relatively difficult puzzles rather than say, a bunch of not very difficult but still hard, I probably would have swapped river and me as running out of puzzles being possible was the only reason not to have the better person on the easy puzzles. Hopefully they 5/5 at least and wouldn't have done my cryptogram anyway, but yeah, kind of sad about this as we can only max out at 9 with a decent time, and I don't think 9 is enough to win immunity, even if it'd be a good position.

Damn I forgot the rule about dots touching, and well, that was a ridiculously poor showing as a result. I was slow and innacurate and that dissapoints me, but eh, guess that's what happens when I don't have prep time. Probably could have algorithm'd any of them if I had known what they'd be before, then again I'd probably have done the 5 easier ones (and honeslty with the extra help on abc it would have helped a lot), but whatever. This was a bad time and the person we wanted to win least got a victory. I'm not sure where the vote is going but like, probs wenya, and then Gilly gets to decide who to strike so hopefully we aren't the prime target, I don't think we look threatening with this task though.
Just....sigh, was really hoping this would be our challenge to win and instead it was not.

I also don't really like how we didn't even really know the pool of challenges that might be or the number that each of us would be doing. Like, it kind of made strategizing for it really hard as "puzzles" vary wildly and it became really hard to know what subset would be valuable, but eh, still I should have done better. We didn't go into the eliminator so we are still around but damn is this a bad streak of finishes. Hopefully River and I can pull it together near the end of the game if we dodge the vote and eliminator thing, which I'm not sure we will.

Fucking Hell Gilly
"I'd been kinda hoping this might be the round things get interesting, but from what I've heard it sounds like everyone's still determined to milk the inactive angle for as long as its worth."
*wins immunity*
"Btw Shuichi we're going for District 12 because that's the easy move"
REALLY GILLY! REALLY! I'VE BEEN DYING FOR THE IMMUNITY TO DO SOMETHING INTERESTING AND ALL PEOPLE DO IS THE EASY OPTION! WHY WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

OKAY so it seems that Susan does not like the idea of going to the eliminator and the goal is to just, send 9 to there instead. They're a gilly proxy and letting them live is probably a losing move so cutting them out is probably an ideal move and it saves Susan.

Well if this backfires and River and I go into the eliminator, at least we went down doing something. I'll probably have to be around a lot to get everyone on board and pray that people don't want to just do the easy thing and put Susan into the eliminator instead of waiting until next round. Or that 4 gets wind of everything and we get sold out and put in, but then we just need to beat everyone else in the eliminator, which I look forward to doing (though my last few performances don't give me the best odds I suppose)

UGH I AM SO FILLED WITH PANIC! Like what if this just leads to us,8 and 10 in the eliminator, then we basically need to win out even if we survive, ugh. BUT if it does work we have a good amount of friends still around for end game and honestly I don't think we can afford to just go with what 4 wants. But I am soooo sketched out by the lack of responses today.

Okay so it seems that we are going into the eliminator since there's 2.5 hours left and Gilly and Kirby went dark (because ofc that's going to defuse our anger when we have a good chance of coming back) and that is the current rumor. Perhaps it's wrong, but it's only made us vote district 9 so hopefully we can just take them out in the eliminator when we go in.

Well this eliminator game is not something I was expecting to walk into and I'm going to have to get extremely lucky with how Beetlejuice/Ulysses React. The fact that hunting very little is rewarded unless you guess when people are gathering is interesting. Also I'm definitely bending the truth a bit with my explanation to Ulysses so I'm not sure if it endears me to him as someone willing to give the straight or makes him want to cut my head off.

Hopefully I can count on two things: 1. No one will want to hunt round 1, so gathering round 1 while riskier, is an optimal action 2. River won't ever hunt me since we want to get out together
I do think it's problematic that People might want to work with River over me in the long run so I may die due to that. So I'm probably gonna Gather first round, then hide a bunch and pull out a hunt if someone has to gather.

Yeah I'm gonna live and die by round 1. Gathering round 1 puts me 1 up and allows hunting to be a lot more profitable. It may just kill me off the bat but I'll take that over being forced to gather 2 or 3 and being easy pickings.

I was already prepared to give a mid game review of my game and shortcomings so I am laughing a bit that it may just be a postmortem.
