This is the RTCI: Relative Challenge threat index. In this thread, we sum up everybody's challenge placements and then divide it by the sum and subtract it from one. This is a blind calculation that doesn't take into account outliers like throwing challenges.
Hopefully it will let us get a good picture of who's a challenge threat and who isn't. Then we can take those people out when the time comes. It will also be a good indicator of when I'm going too hard and need to lay off the gas for a bit.
Something that this does not currently do: removing dead people and their placements from the calculation. It doesn't make sense to keep dead people in the calculation when they're not in the game anymore so who cares if someone did better than them, we should only care if they're the best person left in the game. But that seems like it would take a lot of work and manual adjustment and I don't know how to automate that in excel and I don't want to write a program to do it, though I probably could very easily.

Here's the spreadsheet for round two. Shuichi, Pikachu and Star are all in the red zone, with twelve and fenrir close behind. Good thing we're sending star to the eliminator. I'm in the orange zone right now and I'd like to drop a bit lower before midgame hits. Meanwhile on the other end of the spectrum is coco pommel, who somehow is doing worse than the people who are literally not playing the game. Perhaps that's an indicator that she's throwing on purpose. In any case she will be required to kill star to progress in the game, so perhaps it will soon be a moot point. I never would have noticed that if I never made this spreadsheet. Isn't data beautiful?

RTCI sounds threatening and bold and dangerous like a protocol for detecting dangerous earthquakes or tornadoes RCTI sounds like a medical scan you get when you have a genetic disease you've never heard of before
Which one would you rather have?

I found an easy way to update challenge placements so that the performance of dead people no longer affects Threat Score, so we'll be using this advanced calculation now.
Today's update of the RTCI brings exciting new news! Star and Montreal were eliminated. Star used to hold the third position with a score of 0.67, and Montreal was second to the bottom with a score of 0.24.
With that, the rest of the levels adjust to fill the power gap. Pikachu is up two points, and most of everyone else has dropped one to three points. The biggest changes are coco and tetra, dropping four points a piece. But there's reason to believe that these next challenge results will be quite telling! Now is the time to buy those undervalued stocks who have been throwing competitions! But with risk comes reward because four of the stocks will crash and burn! It's another exciting day at the RTCX. [Relative tChallenge cThreat stock eXchange]. I'm basically a spectator and a player mixed into one thanks to this thread.

I found an error in my calculation. Turns out I was forgetting to subtract the number of challenges from the sum of challenge placements. Because technically if you placed first, your added number should really be zero. So actually everybody's numbers were being bounded lower then they should be. So really all the previous episodes had a ceiling lower than 1 on the threat score.
But I fixed it, so we can't really compare the numbers from the previous episode. Instead I will just have to let the chart speak for itself this time.

What's shaking, RTCIheads? Today we got another hot and juicy update coming right at you off the open fire pizza oven. That's right, we now track how many kills a (living) player got in the eliminator! So now Tetra and Wenya have 3 stars next to their name. Kind of like when a gang member gets a teardrop tatoo on his cheek to indicate he killed somebody. Anyways let's get right into the update! Last round saw a bit of an upset, with projected survivors Shadow and Pikachu both falling to Tetra and Wenya. Coco and donald were also left behind. And now we have another bloodbath! Bloodbath part 2! The only change in position from last round is that Shuichi and Fenrir now jointly share the title of most threatening players in the game. I had better avoid the eliminator! Everybody's threat levels have been adjusted to fill the gap of pikachu and shadow being eliminated. Some went up and some went down, but thier position relative to each other remains unchanged.

The RTCI fandom is dying. Like this post if you're a true RTCI fan. After careful analysis by our experts, i am a huge freaking challenge threat and an even bigger snake. Shuichi and Zod swapped places. Kirby and Stitch switched places. Susan and Gilly jumped up two spots. River song and Birdo are down one. Beetlejuice is down two, Ted Cruz is up two. Your paired average threat level report is as follows: 3 0.74 4 0.63 1 0.62 8 0.60 7 0.58 10 0.45 9 0.42 12 0.32

The bloodbath continues. Twelve, Shuichi, River Song, Birdo, Beetlejuice, all eliminated since last episode. It is poetic that 12 has come in at 12th place. Everybody's relative threat levels have been going up just because there are less people left in the game. It also helps that people who performed well in the early challenges were eliminated, which bumps people up by default. Because everybody who did better than fenrir in the first challenge was already eliminated, he effectively has 3 wins under his belt. The only change resulting from this is that Wenya has surpassed Ulysses in threat level, everybody else remains the same relative to each other. It's interesting to note that all the least threatening people have at least two kills each in the eliminator. Perhaps they are holding back in the public arena? Here is your district threat level report, now that D1 and D9 are no more: D3 ---- 79 D4 ---- 66 D8 ---- 63 D7 ---- 62 D10 --- 40 D12 --- 35

I had to do something weird with the spreadsheet to account for the fact that susan actually didn't participate in this challenge. Ulysses surpassed Wenya Zhu in threat level. Stitch surpassed Kirby. Overall, the hierarchy is pretty set in stone by now. But D7 did pull that win out of nowhere. They were probably throwing challenges up until this point. Ted Cruz is not expected to survive an eliminator match.

Episode 7, part 1. Gilly was eliminated by Kirby, which is what we projected here on the RTCI team. Kirby picks up a kill. Stitch is now equally as threatening as I am. If you expand the decimal, we're on the exact same threat level. Ted Cruz is not looking so hot as a winner pick right now, he will likely get killed by Stitch. I might be below Fenny in threat level, but that's only because he didn't throw challenge 1 and I did. I think I have the advantage when it comes time to duel him, but who can say for sure if the challenges are gonna be like this. Also, it doesn't make a lot of sense to add this lastest challenge to the RTCI considering there's not a lot of element of skill. I will retract that statement if I win the challenge. But it still affects perception, and perception is reality, so I'll add it just for kicks.

Episode 7 part 2.
None of the threat levels changed.
Also my spreadsheet's formatting broke for no reason because LibreOffice is terrible software.

Player Threat Score Fenrir 0.78 Stitch 0.78 Zod 0.78Kirby* 0.72Susan 0.63Ted Cruz 0.59Tracer*** 0.43Wenya*** 0.30
Tetra*** 0.26
The entire color scale functionality is just totally busted. I think I need to make a new spreadsheet and start over. So I colored this one manually by just eyeballing it.
Things are getting spicy in the eliminator, Ulysses was taken out. Now Fenrir, Stitch, and Zod are all tied for top threat of the game. But this game is only big enough for two major threats... who will be eliminated next!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
