District 10 would most likely vote with 1 since they've said they've had a pretty good relationship with one another, so I really doubt this stays in a tie. Shuichi recently asked me if we're positive we won't be voting 9 and I've told him you're still unsure and we're still talking through it, which actually kind of isn't a lie for once! Do you mean flip in terms of taking out 9 or taking out 12? I literally don't know which is better at this point. At first I was thinking it'd be better to stick with our bigger alliance, but if 3 is considering taking out 9 that'll make things a bit more complicated.

By flipping, I mean taking out 9 and severing our alliance with 4. I'm trying to figure out how bad being on the wrong side of this vote could be for us, but I have no clue if I'm overthinking or not. My gut reaction to you saying that District 10 is probably with District 1 is that we should flip and capitalize on our good relationship with District 1.

I'm not telling Shuichi anything until we're 100% certain about this. Keep in mind there's a chance that 100% of district 9 comes back after this vote, which would probably be pretty terrible on our part and tank our position a lot. But if 100% of district 1 comes back and we don't vote with them, that'll also be pretty bad too, but at least we won't ruin our relationship with 4 as well that way. Ugggggh I just have no idea what to do.

Zod favors voting District 9 and distancing from District 4. I'm prepared to pull the trigger on this if you are.
The next question is if we should be honest with other people about having been in the big alliance. I'm leaning towards yes because, like you said, people in the Eliminator are going to talk to each other. I think it's best if they hear it from us and not someone else.

If District 9 comes back and sticks with District 4, that would be a 4-2 split with us in the majority. I also feel like at least one of District 1 will survive.

Alright, I'm in. Let's do this. I'm not entirely sure how to break it to Shuichi though regarding our alliance though. I think there's a chance they could get mad at us for not telling them earlier, but like I'd rather they find out from us than when they get thrown in the Eliminator.

District 9 for the primary vote and District 12 for the secondary? After we finalize our votes, I'm going to spend some time figuring out what to say too. Hopefully Zod has some valuable input. This whole ordeal has made me suddenly feel a LOT closer with Zod, by the way.

I hate this, but I'm not saying a word about this to District 9. They have to be blindsided, otherwise they could tell District 4 and endanger us.

Mhm! Just keep in mind that we only have like two hours to do so before Shuichi gets sent to the Eliminator, unless you're thinking about telling him after he comes out?
Oh really? Is it anything in particular that he said or just the way he approached you and stuff?

I think it's best if we tell them before the deadline. Just need to figure out the best way to do it. I think the deadline being so close gives us one benefit, at least. Introducing this new information probably won't affect the District 9 vote.
The way he approached me and talked through the idea of flipping with me. I'd feel a lot less comfortable with this move if District 3 wasn't making it with us.

Yeah, 3 being on board definitely helped turned my opinion around on it too. I feel a lot better about blindsiding our alliance when half of it is on board.
I'll try to figure out how to break it to Shuichi too, I'll let you know when I have a better idea about it.

It's weird because District 3 being with us both elevated the sense of panic but also made it feel safer. We had someone else that also thought the ship was sinking, but they were jumping with us.

This is what I'm currently planning on sending to Shuichi according to my latest draft. How does it sound?

Also, do you know if 3 plans to spill the alliance to 1 as well, or others? It might seem pretty sketchy if we're the only ones doing it and they're not on board with it.

Your message to Shuichi looks good. Zod agreed that we should tell them before the deadline. I plan on telling River and Susan for now. If Birdo comes back on, I'll tell her too. No intention to tell Wenya. I'll ask who Zod is planning on telling.

Oh yeah, should we tell Wenya about the vote or no? I'm thinking there's no reason to leave her in the dark, but it's your call.

I just confirmed with Tetra that we're both voting District 9. I also didn't see any reason to keep them in the dark now that we've decided.

Oh yeah, we might as well confirm with Shuichi/River that they're getting put up, right? I mean if we're going to spill the alliance it probably won't be plausible to pretend to be in the dark about nominations.

Yeah I plan to say that to River when I tell her about the alliance. Sorry that I forgot about that when reading your message for Shuichi.

I just realized pretty much everyone knows about the vote but 4 and 9. I'm pretty worried about it leaking through, but then again I don't know if anyone actually has any incentive to.

I'm hoping everyone manages to keep it secret, yeah. If District 4 hears about it, who knows what could happen. They might keep their nomination on District 1, or they could target us or District 3. That's why I want to make sure them and District 9 stay in the dark, despite how much I hate blindsides, especially in the context of this game.

It's been almost a half hour since I message Shuichi and he hasn't responded back, which makes me feel a bit worried. Did you manage to tell River or Susan about the alliance yet?

River tried to see if we could sway District 4 to change their nomination. Other than that, she seems to be taking it alright. Zod actually told her before I did, so she messaged me and I confirmed some things.
