Ok, so other than Zod, Susan, and Donald these are entirely new people, lol. This PM group seems considerably worse, which I guess is fine since at least it means I can be considerably less effort in my PMs! I'll confessionalize more properly tomorrow.

Spectator questions! 2 Players down already, sponsors being thrown around and that was only round 1 1) Do you know where the sponsorships came from? 2) Are you happy with the players who came out of the eliminator and how are you now are going to deal with them? 3) If a twist allowed you to swap partners would you and if yes, who would you want as a new partner and why? 4) Looking ahead, the overall winners of this game will be determined by challenges, would you/have you thrown any challenges to reduce your threat level? 5) In the spectator area we have a thread specifically for the best and funniest quotes of the game, are there any quotes from your PMs that you feel deserve a place in this thread? 1)Well, River did publically reveal she got hers from placing first in the eye exam! I'm thinking it was probably the best and worst performers that received the sponsors, which if that's true means there's still at least one more sponsor or advantage floating around from the hidden task in the banner. 2)I mean I would probably be happy if I hadn't shrugged off Wenya earlier! I think this is still probably fine because they (or at least Wenya) are going to go after district 3 first and I don't see them lasting much longer anyhow. If they do go back in the Eliminator though I'd really like to see Tetra come back the other side. 3)It depends on how exactly it's done. If it was publicly revealed (to my partner at least) that I decided to switch that might make him worried about our bond, and there's no need to risk us falling out since he's a fine partner. But hypothetically if I could come out of it squeaky clean... Actually I don't know if I'd actually switch? I think it would be interesting to pair with Kirby, and maybe River but something about the thought of it makes me uneasy, but otherwise I'm pretty content rocking it out with Ted. 4)I haven't thrown any challenges yet, and I probably wouldn't need to since I'm not that great at challenges, haha. But what's more scary to me than coming off as a challenge threat is the responsibility that comes with putting people off. I'm fairly solid with a lot of districts right now, and if it gets down to say 1, 3, 4, 7, 9, 10 and I end up winning immunity I'm going to have to burn somebody. I'm going to have to burn people either way, but it's a lot more damaging when I myself have to directly put them in the Eliminator instead of say voting them out with consensus as we've kind of seen already regarding Wenya's attitude towards district 3. 5)Oh, at first I thought you said from my confessional and I was gonna be like "uhhh, not really", lol. But yeah there's several nice PMs that have stuck out to me. Despite Ted supposedly not being human he sure does have a lot of conversation! Something about this conversation I've had earlier made me chuckle. Beetlejuice expressed some concern about it looking like the alliance offer only happened because of the revised results. I sent Fenrir a PM about the alliance before the update, but Zod's not going to know that until Fenrir logs in. Eh, I don't see that being a problem? I didn't mention it out of the blue, and if he is concerned about that he'd just tell Fenrir who would (hopefully) reassure him about the timeline, but I don't think it'd even cross his mind tbh. I'm not going to worry if you say there's nothing to worry about. Tonight might be the most relaxing night of the game so far, actually. I've also told Beetlejuice there's nothing to worry about so he can join in on the relaxation. Idk, something about inviting Beetlejuice on like this train of relaxation kind of got to me, haha. And there was also this nice conversation I've had that I spent the last five minutes trying to find before realizing it actually came from Gilly and not anyone in my last PM group. We were essentially talking about wasting time and procrastinating and then she came up with this: We should just go ahead and form Time Wasters Anonymous or something. Start a support group, meet up, waste a bunch of time, have a meeting about how we waste a bunch of time... with that kind of efficiency we could even make it an official government agency. ...Which is essentially just creating a support group to help people not waste time which ends up being a waste of time itself, haha. She's definitely fun to PM!

Round 3 Questions:
1. You are now participating in your third challenge. Are you liking the challenges so far or have you found them to be too easy? What sorts of challenges do you hope to see going forward? 2. Two Sponsors were played last round, WOW! That's intense. Do you think there are more Sponsors around for the taking? How did the Sponsor plays affect your game? 3. Have you given any thoughts to alliances? Which Districts do you see yourself aligning with? Are there any players you want to work with that you feel your partner might not? 4. Is Peeta Mellark the worst spec of all time for stealing half my questions?! 5. Provide a ranking of all of the players by who you trust to who you don't trust. (including your partner if you wish)

4b) Gonna take a stand here, is Peeta Mellark the best spec for giving the true hard hitting but also entertaining questions, not just every round but every stage of every round? 4c) Who would come out of the eliminator alive, me or Effie Trinket?

Oh my god I lost all my answers and now I have to rewrite this fffffffff. 1)Yeah, I've really liked the challenges so far! There's a lot of new challenges, which is pretty refreshing! I'm hoping to see more like that dominos challenge tbh since I seem to be pretty good at it, though if I'm doing well at a challenge that probably means everyone else is smoking it, haha. I'm also hoping to see a creative challenge even though I wouldn't be good at it since it's fun to see what people come up with! 2)Hmm, I wonder who was responsible for those... I know there's at least one more advantage from the banner, unless that also happened to be the sponsor played. Whether or not it turns out to be a sponsor is a different story entirely, though I guess we'll know when we know. 3)Yes, in fact! District 4 has started an alliance between me&Ted along with 3 and 7, which is nice since I've been getting along well with most of them except for Fenrir, who I haven't had the chance to message at all yet. District 1 is also a solid alliance to keep on the down-low as a side connection, maybe 8 and 10 as well but not as much. 4a)Nooo, haha. I thought you'd appreciate not having to do as much work. 4b)Best spec?? Peeta, you're more active than like half of the players here! OK, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but still, you've been a great spec! You churn out those questions like a machine, which I guess is fitting given how stiff your avatar is. I wouldn't be surprised if I caught you hanging out with Mr.Cruz sometime. 4c)If it was a challenge to see who could spit out the hard hitting™ questions the fastest you'd probably win out. If it was a challenge to see who could do the most modding Effie would probably win. It'd depend on the type of challenge really since you both have specialized strengths, but uhhhh considering Effie basically controls everything around here I'm 99% sure she'd rig it in her favor. Sorry, Peeta. :/ 5)I'm just gonna do tiers since there's no way I can reliably rank every single player individually at this stage. So, how much do I trust each player? WITH MY LIFE: Ted, Kirby, Gilly, Zod, Ulysses, Beetlejuice, River, Shuichi PRETTY WELL: Susan, Tracer, Donald EH...: Fenrir, Star, Coco, 12, Birdo, Shadow, Tetra NAH: Wenya, Pikachu, Montreal

OK wow, everyone must be super busy or something because I took a short break and came back to like one new message. I'm pretty grateful for it actually since it's nice to take a quick break from the game, but hopefully there's not some secret agreement to completely ignore me and stab me in the back, haha...
I moved discussion over to the district forum finally, but Ted hasn't gotten back to me yet, which I guess is pretty obvious since y'all can just check it now but w/e. Shadow is alright but based on my messages with him it's obvious Montreal's just dead weight. Being sent to the Eliminator will probably be good for his game actually since he for sure beats Montreal and will probably get a much more active partner to boot. Beetlejuice seems to want District 5 out, which I've gathered from hints he's dropped in our PMs and directly from Zod, which I'm not really opposed to, but Coco is pretty nice to talk to. I think I'll be fine with any combination of 5/6/11/12 as those are some of my weakest connections, not as much 6 but they probably need to be taken out sooner than later anyhow before I have to start making some really tough decisions.

I've been thinking about it and I think the longer deadlines are both a blessing and a curse. I'm glad it isn't super fast paced, but at the same time it's a bit of a struggle for me to try to PM since I'm not exactly sure what to talk about now. It feels like we're kind of past the point of small talk, but at the same time not really deep enough in the game to talk about much at all, especially after our alliance formed, so it's a bit awkward for me to try to make conversation. Hopefully I'll feel more motivated after the results are revealed.

Also I hope Ted is just busy and like hasn't completely forgotten about the thread I made in our district, lol.

Spectator Questions! It appears that District 8 won that challenge, they must've really trained for it. 1) If a twist allowed you to send 2 individual players rather than a whole district to the eliminator, who would you send? 2) Do sponsors change how you talk to players before potentially voting for them? and is there anyone you suspect might have a sponsor? 3) Should there be a punishment for players who repeatedly ignore my questions and if so, what should it be? 4) Which District do you really want sent in this round, and which District (other than your own) would you want to protect this round? 5) In theory there's only 10 rounds in this game (2 players eliminated each round and final round being 4 players), which round of the game do you think is the right time to turn from quiet players to players who are threats to your game (either socially or challenge wise) 5b) Who are those threats to you?

1)Probably still Shadow and Montreal tbh. I'd be fine with Birdo going as well to make it easier to bond with Tracer.
2)Not really, I'm just making sure not to completely leave anyone in the dust since I don't want to leave a bad impression on them and influence them to put us up. I'm not expecting anyone else to have a sponsor after River revealed she actually got hers from the banner. I'm not exactly sure why she lied about that tbh but it definitely helps that she cleared that up.
3)Yes, indeed! And as punishment for ignoring your questions, they should be forced to answer 100 questions from you with top notch answers or face risk of being instantly eliminated and shunned. They wouldn't even have spectator access!!
4)Other than 11, which is really obvious, I'd like to see 12 get sent to the eliminator since I'm not sure how pissed 12 is with me and she'd seem like a pretty unreliable ally anyhow. I'd probably like to protect 1 the most since I could see a world where they're actually targeted, although is it very, very slim.
5)Yeah, I've been thinking about that actually. We're almost 20% through the game, which is nice to think about. I'm thinking around round 5 or 6. I'm probably just going to prioritize on taking out the biggest challenge threats since there's no need to be paranoid about anyone social wise due to there being no jury. Though I guess if someone's playing both sides or good with everyone it'd probably be a good idea to take them out so that people would be more free to bond with each other
5b)Actually I think district 1 might be a threat sooner or later, at least challenge wise, but personally I wouldn't like to see them go for a while. Over the course of the game I'm probably going to look more closely at challenge scores to see who would be most likely to beat me in the final challenge and aim on taking them out.

I didn't want to leave Shuichi hanging for too much longer and told him that River told me the truth about the sponsor. I'm hoping that River would've come clean to him about telling me & Ted about it. It's just that I think it's going to be a bit awkward otherwise if Shuichi was expecting me to bring it up and I just... didn't. I don't think it's going to matter too much either way since it's not a totally big deal given that the sponsor's already been played, but if it does get a bit awkward at least I'd know just to keep conversation between me and River.

I'm hoping Ted gets my message in time and doesn't ask River about it since I've already told Shuichi. I have no idea why I decided to wait for Ted to respond before posting that update tbh.

Like I'm pretty sure I'm just stressing over nothing as usual and none of this will even matter but this could've been avoided if I was like 10% more patient.

So it turns out Shuichi was fine with it after all. Who could've guessed??
Jeez was this confessional short. I guess part of why I'm not using it as often is because of me & Ted's conversation being shifted to the District Thread and there's not that much going on in my head that I wouldn't just share in there. I guess I'm kind of bummed at 12 not getting nominated but not too much so, but I did ghost Tetra for the past two days because of it, oops. That's my bad. I think I'm just scared to talk to Wenya again because I don't know her opinion regarding me. That reminds me, it'll probably be a good idea to check up with Ted to see where his head's at regarding everyone. Probably after the deadline though.

What another exciting twist!! But really I should be holding my breath for another few hours in case there's a surprise sponsor again, lol. I don't have any idea where that extra vote on District 6 came from though.

Spectator questions! Time for an epic eliminator battle! 1) Did you know who was planned to be sent to the eliminator? 2) How much control did you have over this vote? Did you want these players sent in or would you rather someone else? 3) Who are you hoping makes it out here and why? 4) Only 1 player noticed my pun in my last set of questions and this makes me sad, as a punishment I want a pun from everyone about the current battle in the eliminator 5) Round 3 is coming up, what kind of challenge would you like to come here and what kind of challenge would you hate to have?

Post by Stitch on Mar 3, 2020 2:49:05 GMT
1)Mhm! Susan told me that she'd be putting up 5 and even Shadow was content with going to the Eliminator so he was a pretty easy vote out.
2)I didn't have that much control at all as it turns out, but I'm not super bothered by it since I didn't have much of a reason to keep district 5 around. I am a bit surprised they went in so early, though. Kirby was mentioning to me early about how he felt Star was playing a great UTR game and was laying low on purpose, so he may have had some influence on how the vote went down as well, though I mostly heard it circulated through Beetlejuice.
3)Shadow/Coco, most definitely. I feel like they'd probably go in again pretty quickly, but at least there's a chance I could manage something with that pair. If Montreal or Star makes it out alive then I wouldn't hesitate throwing them back in the Eliminator tbh.
4)Was it about District 8 training for the challenge? I still can't really see it tbh. Anyhow... It seems like the challengers in the Eliminator are busy Pommeling each other in the ring, leaving quite an Impact on each other's worn out bodies, but who will come out as the shining Star and who will be left behind in the victor's Shadow!? Tune in tomorrow night to find out!
5)I wanna see more arcade-like Flash games, those are pretty fun, and I seem to be decent at most of them as well. I don't want to see any challenges where I have to think incredibly hard, like puzzles, or that are just incredibly time consuming. That domino challenge came close to my breaking point tbh.
