Hi River, I figure that I may as well keep track of who are the strongest teams and the best way to do that is to track how well each member of the team has done in the past. Granted it can't account for how much someone's partner dragged them down before but should probably at least give us an idea of who is good and who is not. So I have the first batch. Note: To Normalize the first challenge I just gave a "team rank" to the top two performers in the first task, then the next task, etc.... As we can see the scariest district atm is district 3 and district 8 is up there as well, well next to us.

Anyway, reason I bring this up is because, while on balance the eliminator forms stronger teams, it can be used to eliminate threats to us in the end game. How will this work? Well there are a couple teams that are pretty damn scary and are made up of two "weaker" members and others that are made up of two stronger members. If you break up the strong team while a weak team also goes to the eliminator, you weaken the strong team. Ofc this only works if we keep around teams that are both weak and should only be used on really strong teams, but if we gain control at a critical juncture we might be able to use this method to increase our odds of winning near the end. As such we should be careful in the future of sending "weak" teams to the eliminator as this becomes less effective.

So Montreal ruined everything lol. I couldn’t let us do the Eliminator. I am so sorry for the target that will put on us...but facing you for elimination I’m the first challenge is just not something I am willing to do. Your my teammate and I’m sticking with you, until the bitter end!

Updates time! So with this last challenge (where honestly some positions are more due to RNG than skill but whatever. Ya boi Shuichi jumps up into the top power ranking slot, where he right fully belongs while Pikachu showcases a tremendous amount of skill. Fenrir and Zod had lackluster performances but still maintain spots as dominant competition while Birdo also makes significant strides. 12 and Susan are proving to be quite the pairing with Susan consistently being in the middle ranks and 12 having amazing skills here. Meanwhile River falls far from their perch as "THE ULMIATE CHALLENGE BEAST" hopefully she'll be able to regain that mantle over time. Not much to note near the bottom aside from Bettlejuice and Ulysses practically swapping places and Gilly having a sizable fall.

Holy heck how did y’all get such good scores!?!?! I only had the opportunity to play twice. How many times did you play to get that score?!?! Oh I just restarted every time I didn't do so well...my first score was 60 something actually. Strategy was pretty simple. One sec. 1. Rearrange your dominoes into the largest chain you can play on your own starting from the engine. 2. Then take the ones that are not in that chain. If you can play those elsewhere, play them, otherwise continue your own chain. 3. Prioritize larger pip counts first (unless you have double blank, that must go first) 4. Watch out for doubles, leaving one uncovered is great way to fill up other hands with garbage If you got good rng and used that, it basically came down to rng for getting the magical 0.

It's power ranking time: It seems that Shuichi has been dethroned as the ultimate challenge beast, being supplanted by Fenrir and all their wolfy goodness. Whooo boy have them and Zod been on a tear, holding the first and 3 position on the list. Pikachu falls a bit while Stich leaps up the rankings quite a lot. River Song gains a spot by holding 5th, making her and Shuichi to still be a quite strongly ranked team. Not many other noticable changes outside of another sizable rise for beetlejuice and a distinct fall for both members of district 8, mostly hurting 12. Rankings will likely be harder to move as we get more results, so expect this to start being a good idea of how people and teams are doing.

Yeah I think Coco/Shadow are an obvious pair to send to the Eliminator if the goal is to thin out the weaker districts....but should that be the strategy for much longer?

Honestly no. It's also probably bad for anyone on top as you want to make weaker teams out of the ones on your heels/above you, not make sure they're always stronger.

Exactly!! I really think the best case scenario is if somehow Zod/Fenrir felt like they came to the conclusion of sending Gilly/Kirby and then the rest of the group voted Coco/Shadow. We would also get more points from Donald/Pikachu to get them to vote with us in the future.

You thought I forgot about power rankings? No, I never forget about power rankings: No massive falls near the top outside of Fen and Zod being the top 2, which tbf, with the number of positions getting smaller, the worst positions are also becoming lower intervals, which means if you are already at the top, a new performance can't shift it too much. Still it's clear there are 3 pairs near the bottom overall, and they are Districts 12, 10 and 9 after some rather middling to poor showings. District 4 showed themselves to be a real threat with their number 1 win and district 8 holds steady with a decent showing. Still it's clear district 3 will be the ones to beat at the end.
