So Spectators. I managed to message everyone before the end of Challenge 1. So now is when it gets interesting. I got goss on people. There's an obvious three alpha pairs which is Gilly and I, Stitch and Ted, and Fenrir and Zod. Real interesting that Ulysses and Tetra didn't chat bc those are the two real interesting pairs. So yeah, start firing questions and I would be happy to answer. I talked a lot about powers everyone would give me if I ate them. If you need a place to start.

Round 2 questions:
1. You are now part of a District! Your District's theme is specifically centered around a specific niche in The Hunger Games. Do you feel like a part of you fits the theme, or is it mostly just a silly gimmick you don't really care much for? Why do you feel this way? 2. As you are in a District, that means you have been paired up with someone. Is this an ideal person for you to be with or do you have reservations? What makes you feel this way? 3. Challenge scores & ratings were put up yesterday. Were there any surprises or did it all pretty much unsurprise you for the most part? What specifically seemed interesting about these ratings? 4. PM groups were decided yesterday, meaning you now have half the amount of people to talk to as you are used to. Is this a relief? Or are you finding some difficulties in trying to now navigate a less open social field? Have you been utilizing your District forum to exchange communication with your partner for the half you are no longer allowed to talk to? (We hope you might at some point so specs can see what sorts of info you are exchanging!) 5. The next challenge is up and it is your first District Challenge for Immunity? How do you feel about your chances? Do you feel your partner will help or hinder your ability to complete it? Elaborate.
May the odds be ever in your favor <3

If this was actually just a fight to the death between the characters, who would win? How do you think you would do?

Spectator questions! Would love to hear from you guys about your pairings and how you're feeling 1) How much have you and your partner talked before? 2) What do you feel you bring to this partnership? 3) What should be your team name? How do you feel about your chances? Do you feel your partner will help or hinder your ability to complete it? Elaborate. May the odds be ever in your favor <3 1. Well I surely hope to not die to weird ass mutants in the district 1 equivalent of a sewer so I really hope I don't follow in my district mates footsteps. I personally think it is a nice touch with regards to the theme, and it makes for easier organisation so I'm for it. 2. I got my second choice on my list so I am personally thrilled. Gilly has a lot of experience with LSGs which is great for me being a relative newbie. I am hoping to have a break out performance here and getting Gilly as a partner I feel has really helped with that a lot. I think this is a strong pairing and we have great communication potential. 3. I'm not reading super in to them. I think there is a bit of fate there with me and Gilly being on identical scores. If she had been faster I would have been matched with Ted which would have made everything completely different as Gilly and Ulysses would have been a HUGE powerhouse pairing. 4. I think I was one of the few who messaged everyone at least once before the end of the challenge, which I think put me in a good stead for putting in the effort. It is nice to have that pared back now as I have less time during the week than I did on the weekend. me and Gilly have been mostly on PMs, but we can likely move that in to the public forum. I have an idea for us to make notes on each pairing. 5. We have expressly decided to deliberately aim for a middle of the pack score, much like I did with the first challenge.

If this was actually just a fight to the death between the characters, who would win? How do you think you would do? I think I would do quite well. I am pretty much impossible to truly destroy. I think I'd be around at the end, even if I just gotta fly away and stay out of the way until the end.

Gilly and I talked a lot before the end of the challenge and I think we are both really happy with this pairing. We had a long and detailed chain, and I heard that we were both spruking each other to others so we were already heavily helping each other. 2. I think I have a strong challenge ability, and I think I can match some of her activity which is good. I think she really needs someone she can rely on to pull their weight of maintaining alliances in the other group. 3. KILLY 4. Oooo, see I generally die to twists in LSGs, which is why I am so bad at them. I can do challenges and I can talk but I do not deal well with sudden changes to the PMing landscape. 5. Good communications, we both scored the same in the challenge so we're probably pretty even there. And we both like Smash. I was chatting Frostbite with both Gilly and Zod, and we are talking about doing discord viewing parties for Smash tourneys after this game is over and we all learn who each other is. I have learnt that we all have different pro players we barrack for. Mine did the worst at Frostbite, but also had one of the hardest strength of schedules out of everyone.

Spectator questions! Results of the second challenge are in, Birdo and Tracer took the victory 1) How safe are you feeling right now? 2) If you had the only vote here and didn't need to worry about social politics, who would you send to the eliminator? 3) Are you going to focus on threats or on quieter players? 4) If you're sent to the eliminator, do you think you'd make it back out? 5) In theory, half of everyone you vote off will come back from the eliminator, how will you manage their anger with you voting them off?

1. Very to put it bluntly. Gilly has started setting up alliances so I think we should be fine. 2. Hmmm, interesting. Probably a threat in that scenario. Maybe Susan/12 I think positionally that'd be strong for us. 3. Quieter players early seems to be the general consensus. 4. I think me and Gilly are even. I think it will be close whatever it is. 5. I think a lot will be in management of scenarios. Everyone is in this boat so everyone is going to get mad at times. Being vindictive is going to go badly in a game like this I feel.

Ok so I shouldn't answer spectator questions while at work because I give short responses.
Also there was a winner change since I posted.
So interesting things is that Wenya spilled their guts to me and a couple of others about thinking Lele deliberately sabotaged their challenge for an unknown reason. I've bonded with Wenya over support for them so I hope they beat Lele after being send there by Zod and Fenrir. Shadow/Montreal is unanimous vote, so safe for the moment.
Myself and Gilly have been approached for alliances with District 1. There is a larger alliance with 3, 7, and 9. 12 and Susan have their own things going but we are not privy. Gilly doesn't really like 12 so eh.

Spectator questions! So Tapu Lele v Wenya Zhu and Shadow v Montreal Impact 1) Did you know that these were the districts being sent to the eliminator? (either by the immune pair or from feeling confident on the vote) 2) If you knew, did you in any way warn these districts about being sent and if so, what was the reaction 3) What 2 players do you want to win this eliminator challenge? 4) Describe (in as much detail as possible) the current gladiator battle that is currently going on in the eliminator 5) What's the juiciest gossip you've heard so far this game?

1. I knew both. I decided not to try and convince District 3 off of District 2. But I would have preferred District 6. Zod was quite Clea with everyone in our alliance that they wanted to leave the easy first vote (District 11) open for the votes so nothing would appear crazy. Wenya and Lele neglected to message District 3 so it is their own fault. 2. I warned District 2, they did nothing about it. Gilly warned Shadow as well at my insistence. 3. Shadow and Wenya. I have gotten in to a decent relationship with Wenya despite really not liking them and Gilly has been trying the same with Shadow. People voted them because of mostly Lele and Montreal, so we are trying to position should craziness happen in the next vote that we are at least decent with a Shadow/Wenya pair. If any other combination happens the pair is going straight back to elimination pretty much regardless. 5. The juicy goss is that Wenya thinks Lele threw the challenge on purpose. No one can even fathom why Lele would do that but it looks deliberate. I don't know if Lele expected to be the vote bc Shadow is at least messaging, but if Lele wins a brilliant partner is not waiting for them.
4. Darkness set in as the districts eyed each other. District 2 had received a care package of jerky, and while using it to flavour water from a nearby stream over a fire, the pair from District 11 happened upon them. Hungry and desperate Shadow drew the single dagger he had salvaged before disappearing earlier on. Montreal all grinned, their partner was taking the lead and that meant an opportunity to directly take a competitor's life. They had the numbers advantage, 11 men all ready to pounce on their opposition attempting to rest. Tapu Lele rose in response to this aggression and the battlefield went weird.
Shadow was the first to make a move, immediately finding themself unable to do so after a couple of steps. Wenya laughed, "Heh, your speed means nothing when Lele is here, you're useless," moments before exploding in a flash of multicoloured light.
Montreal seized the opportunity, chanting "SQUARE" to each other and trying to find someone to stand in line with them. They sprinted in unison, changing their chant to "THROUGH" while Shadow just stared in horror. The men he thought were his trust teammates were turning on him, allying with this purple fucking fairy thing. Shadow silently lamented on their life.
"I was meant to go fast," he thought, "I can only go fast."
Tapu Lele, realising the others were doing just as e had done settled down, returning the battlefield to normal.
Shadow was paralysed, half due to Lele's influence, half in pure fear. He tried to move again. His foot went forward, and again, and ag- In a black blur, the Montreal Impact started dropping, they gripped their knees in pure agony. The one wearing a bright yellow jumper and gloves just groaned, "NOW IS NOT THE TIME, THERE ISN'T EVEN A FUCKING REF HERE. GET UP YOU IDIOTS!" He noticed too late. As he saw an unnatural black blur barrel towards him instincts kicked in, he dived in the way. The blur collided with him. His last thought, "I saved it" as his body was sliced through by Shadow's blade.

Oh em gee.
I really hope these are picked by spectators because if it works like hidden immunity idols I have literally never seen one or have any clue as to how someone might get one. I've never made it far enough in to a game.
Like are hidden idols hidden in hidden links? Are they like you do a thing and it activates. I got no idea. Oh man, I immediately feel less safe from things now. Ooooo Ulysses tone changed recently, does that mean he might be hoarding something.
Hoooooooooooo this is nuts. Poor River and Shuichi. They deserved better. I was just starting to like River. I hope River and Wenya survive. I think I am well placed if that happens.

Hi! How's the game going for you?
I haven't been asking questions (or paying attention to this game) but since you created such a beautiful thread, asked so nicely, and followed me- I'm making an exception just for you.
I know this is kind of weird and seems un-game-related, but it's a very important question: how do you feel about bacon?
Who are your favorite three people in the game right now? What challenge would you like to see next? Are you watching Survivor: Winners at War?

Hi! I feel like the game is going pretty well. I think the closest thing I have to an enemy at the moment is Donald and I think that isn't too bad of a situation. I am so so sorry but I need to answer honestly. Bacon is overrated. However Pork is one of my favourite meats in general. I just think that Bacon leaves a not great smell that lingers. Gilly, Tracer, River - Which is very very different to what my answer would have been 48-36 hours ago. But I am connecting really well with the people I'm not incredibly close to. River and Shuichi especially is a pair we have in the back pocket as an alliance moving forward. Something that doesn't swap pairs afterwards haha. I think I do well in logic-y perfect imbalance type stuff where you have to just roll the dice based on information given and try to outplay other people. I haven't watched survivor in over a decade.

YESSSSS THANK YOU BACON IS SO OVERRATED. You are now officially my favorite.
What would your answer have been 48 hours ago? And why has it changed so drastically?
lol same but Winners at War got me to give it another shot, despite the dozen gimmicks they've got going on.

Haha, good to hear. Honesty is the best policy.
I think it would have been Gilly, Ulysses, and Zod. My alliance is getting very in everyone's business which makes a lot of sense. I don't think the alliance is going to last and the more I message him the more I think I am the weakest link with Ulysses and the more I think Fenrir and Zod have other stuff going on they think is stronger long term. Like me have an alliance with River and Shuichi that is meant to be private at the moment. And I know not everyone like Birdo while Tracer has catapulted up my favourite people list.
Fair enough. I think I just am not in to the drama of reality tv any more. I mostly watch fiction dramas now. The Bold Type is probably my favourite. But yeah I don't even watch the big Aussie ones either. People get weird when I say I don't watch The Block, My Kitchen Rules, or I'm a Celebrity.

My recent PM to Gilly: So things are heating up. We need to do a catchup because there's some things I think I can infer are happening behind the scenes. But a run down of what I have evidence for are: River/Shuichi and Ulysses/Beetle HAD a secret alliance. Zod/Fenrir may have a sponsor. Stitch may have a secret sponsor or already knew about someone already having one so there's potential that they are tight with either Shadow or District 1. Star has a game plan and is probably a threat. Lele may have been working something out with Shadow to kick out Wenya. None of these are confirmed but all are things I have sufficient evidence to not discount. And I think most of these are true.

Spectator questions! 2 Players down already, sponsors being thrown around and that was only round 1 1) Do you know where the sponsorships came from? 2) Are you happy with the players who came out of the eliminator and how are you now are going to deal with them? 3) If a twist allowed you to swap partners would you and if yes, who would you want as a new partner and why? 4) Looking ahead, the overall winners of this game will be determined by challenges, would you/have you thrown any challenges to reduce your threat level? 5) In the spectator area we have a thread specifically for the best and funniest quotes of the game, are there any quotes from your PMs that you feel deserve a place in this thread?

Round 3 Questions:
1. You are now participating in your third challenge. Are you liking the challenges so far or have you found them to be too easy? What sorts of challenges do you hope to see going forward? 2. Two Sponsors were played last round, WOW! That's intense. Do you think there are more Sponsors around for the taking? How did the Sponsor plays affect your game? 3. Have you given any thoughts to alliances? Which Districts do you see yourself aligning with? Are there any players you want to work with that you feel your partner might not? 4. Is Peeta Mellark the worst spec of all time for stealing half my questions?! 5. Provide a ranking of all of the players by who you trust to who you don't trust. (including your partner if you wish)
