Uggghhhh freaking Montreal. Such a huge pain in my neck. I will not forget this... But, because I don’t stand a chance against Shuichi and I’m not ready to lose him as a partner, I want to use my sponsor. Send district 12 to the Eliminator in our place. Round and round it goes Where it stops nobody knows Well we know now obviously Poor old 12, I thought they had managed to scrape by

Also Montreal you fucking idiot. Why. Just die. Poor Shadow Also I love how Kirby started following me after the sponsorship dropped, I'm half tempted to change my status thing on here when round 2 starts to troll with anyone who thinks I have control on sponsorship Also love how thematically, in the Hunger Games, the spectators are the sponsors and Birdo has completely ignored my questions and then asked for sponsors, like if I did have control then she would not get it for shit haha

Oh finally, I'm very happy that District 1 had a sponsor, I'm currently rooting for them because they seem super strategic and I like their conversations

So River Song is telling people she got the sponsor because she was the top scorer in the last challenge. This is potentially a bad idea as if anyone else finds the clue, such as Ted Cruz, they will know she is actively trying to reduce her threat level and could use that against her. That being said I think River is caught in an unfortunate series of events and that there's literally no way to avoid having to do this. The alternate is outing herself as a huge threat by how she found it. I don't see a good path out of this, which is truly truly unfortunate.
That being said it does keep a rather strategic and exciting pair in the game. District 1 is very communicative and apt to working with each other and at least for a few rounds will probably be left alone to build their threat level before being cut down.

Tbh I don't think it's as bad as you think, in fact if anything it puts more worry in people's minds
Given that her sponsor was the exact same as Montreal sponsor, it's quite easy to believe that they got them from the same place, Ted has no way of knowing for sure that his clue was led to Rivers sponsor
Meaning that Ted will likely believe that there's another sponsor out there

If it encourages people to compete in the challenge instead of trying to artificially reduce their threat, I'm interested in Rivers story

If District 11 uses the sponsor to put in District 1 instead, can District 1 then use their sponsor? Kat's power

i think it's funny that both river and shuichi believe they have no chance of beating each other in an elimination challenge

I like that Pikachu is worrying so much about getting his story straight for why district 11 voted him when nobody else cares.

Peeta your questions always end up being slightly outdated by the time I can get around to them! It was kinda annoying when posting my questions knowing that half of it was gonna be outdated as soon as the sponsor got used

That awkward moment when you don't know what a diamond power of veto is...
Gilly: "Anyway, just to address the elephant in the room, unless there's some mitigating factor to those idols that isn't readily apparent, or some balancing piece to the game design that makes them less broken, I am going to have words for the mods postgame. When your approach to hidden immunity idols makes SURVIVOR NEXUS look conservative, something has gone horribly wrong."

When your approach to hidden immunity idols makes SURVIVOR NEXUS look conservative, something has gone horribly wrong." A diamond power of veto lets you pick one nominee, who the house then has to vote out over whoever the nominee is that was nominated through normal means. A sponsor lets the user pick one pair and GUARANTEE that one of its members is going home. Furthermore, the diamond power of veto is something that has only appeared in a couple seasons of the show and was a one-time thing when it did pop up, so even if you do argue that they're equivalent in power, you have to understand why players would be incredibly concerned when two of them are played in the very first round of the game. I'm not saying that Gilly isn't jumping to conclusions, but I don't think it's fair to completely disregard a totally reasonable concern a player has about balance being their back.
