"Uggggh why does everyone take so long to message me??" Stitch pondered as he looked upon his inbox with multiple PM chains he hadn't gotten back to for 7+ hours.

I sent Zod a message just as deadline struck, lol. Though I guess that's being extended anyhow. This'll probably be a good time for me to grab something to eat considering I've mostly cleared my inbox save for Donald & Ulysses and I haven't eaten for a few hours. Surprisingly I think I'm reasonably good with everyone in my PM group save for districts 5, 11, and 12, and the latter two are practically dead in the water (though I wish Tetra could be spared tbh), so I'd say I'll be pretty alright for a while. Hopefully!

Spectator questions! Results of the second challenge are in, Birdo and Tracer took the victory 1) How safe are you feeling right now? 2) If you had the only vote here and didn't need to worry about social politics, who would you send to the eliminator? 3) Are you going to focus on threats or on quieter players? 4) If you're sent to the eliminator, do you think you'd make it back out? 5) In theory, half of everyone you vote off will come back from the eliminator, how will you manage their anger with you voting them off?

Oh, so that's what the deal with Queen of Hearts was. Also the hidden posts counts.
1)I'm feeling very safe right now! I'm reasonably good with Tracer and Birdo seems to like Ted, so I highly doubt they'd put us up. I don't think my district is in danger of being voted out either given we have a pretty good support system of like at least half the game, haha.
2)I'm not quite sure how to interpret social politics tbh. Part of me says district 11 since I have the least connections with them, but that'll be the boring answer. I guess if I could just poof away any team it might be Zod's district since it'll be nice to break him apart from Kirby, plus he's not one of my main allies anyhow. But I don't think I plan on targeting him any time soon tbh.
3)Quieter players, for sure. I already have a fairly solid social game, and I'd rather not bring any more attention to myself by pulling off big moves that won't actually benefit me in the long term.
4)Probably not! I'm fairly mediocre at most challenges and have a bad tendency to chock under pressure. I'm not sure if I'd want others to know that though. Definitely not if I happen to be the target, but if Ted happens to be targeted then maybe I can downplay my challenge ability to make it seem like they couldn't get him out even if they did send us to the Eliminator, but I don't see that as very likely atm.
5)I haven't thought about that much yet, and it's kind of hitting me now how hard it's going to be to manage that! I didn't realize you had to send in two votes. I was thinking the immunity winner sends in their pick first and then we all send in our votes after the first pair got sent to the Eliminator, not both of them simultaneously. I don't think you can really blindside them like in traditional LSGs since there's a 50% chance they won't even be eliminated, disregarding challenge ability. On the flip side it could make it a bit easier to tell them the truth since you can play it off like you're voting for them to get rid of their partner, but almost no one's going to like being sent to the Eliminator. I'm not sure whether it's a good idea to be honest or not. I think technically if I could get a unanimous vote it wouldn't be as bad since everyone would be backstabbing, but I guess it depends on how you approach the player being voted out. I guess it'll depend case by case, it's kind of hard to know for sure without doing it for real, but in a general sense it wouldn't be a great idea to intentionally mislead them or sell them on high hopes. Oh yeah, there's also potentially an idol floating around too, or at least some sort of advantage, which is a bit scary to think about, so maybe it won't be the best to tell them straight up? I think I'll have to think about it some more.

OK so I'm already kind of freaking out because I have no idea who I want the second nomination pair to be. I may have accidentally got a bit too close to Wenya, and I think she's going to be fairly pissed at me if I vote for her district given how much she likes Tapu, though maybe not lately since she just ranted to me about how Tapu apparently missed 4 really obvious guesses. I think I should try to push it more towards 12 since while I'd be sad to lose Tetra in worse-case-scenario I think it's going to be better than an angry Wenya coming for my throat.

I talked to Ted about it and yeah it seems like the votes going to trend towards 11 and 2. I really don't know how I'm going to break it to Wenya tbh, or even if I should. Like obviously I don't want to piss her off but it's better than pissing everyone else off. Uggggh this vote might suck, and it's only the first round jfc.

Hmm.... Could I steer the ship in my direction? Potentially. I could maybe get players to vote out district 12 if I through out the vote fast enough and try to convince Kirby, but would it really be worth it? District 2 is pretty much a sinking ship and I'm probably the only one connecting with them on any level. I think trying to push it back would only delay the inevitable, and I don't want to stick out my neck too far and make myself a target.

Alright, so I've learned from Kirby that I'm not the only one Wenya's talked to about Tapu throwing the challenge. That makes me feel a bit better about voting her out tbh, lol.

It's been quite a while since River's messaged me, which is starting to make me think she either suddenly hates me now or forgot I messaged her, lol. Or probably the most likely explanation of her just not having the time.

Well, I panicked and just didn't message Wenya back, which I'm now realizing is a terrible idea.
I thought Kirby for sure would want to vote out 2 but apparently he's a bit up in the air because according to him Wenya thinks Tapu's out to get her, which should want to make him nominate her more?? I have no freaking clue. And he's the only message I've woken up to this morning, which is really weird. Even River hasn't gotten back to me for a long time. Maybe everyone's just super busy talking to their partners, or are just really game shy? I really don't see them blindsiding me or something, because even if they suddenly hated me for whatever reason I don't see why they'd hate Ted too.

Zod just messaged me literally after writing this message. He's said he and Fenrir's talked about it and they're probably going to put up Wenya. I used the opportunity to ask Zod what he plans to do in regards to notifying Wenya or not, because if he's hesitant to do it then I probably just won't bother, even if it would make me look a bit sketchy. I'd much rather step on Wenya's toes than Zod's at this point.

Zod says he's not going to message Wenya since she pretty much ghosted her, but I'm not sure whether he'd mind me giving her a heads up. I feel like she already knows at this rate and she's probably pissed at me for ignoring her. I think Kirby and possibly Susan are the only ones giving any sort of hesitancy regarding Wenya, so I don't think there's any wiggle room to try to flip the vote. Zod seems pretty intent on putting up 2 as well.

River still hasn't PMed back yet. I don't understand how she went from "I want to work closely with your district!" in her last PM to completely ghosting me this voting phase, lol.

OK, so River's finally messaged back. Apparently she's back now ~miraculously~ after I just now sent her a message, which I dunno if it's super convenient timing or just bs, lol. I know I saw her pop online quite a few times, but then again I've definitely done that a few times at work when I 100% couldn't message anyone, so I'll just let it go for now. I'm just glad she finally reached back!
I guess I have a bit of down time now that my inbox is clear of everyone but Wenya! Outside of Ted, my top ally would probably be Ulysses. I've noticed some of his messages are a bit awkward and kind of miss the context of what I'm saying sometimes, which I don't super mind since I can be super awkward sometimes too, but at least I know he's not a super star chatter. River would probably be my next best ally but I've got to make sure she's like still good with me first! Kirby's very nice too, though I definitely need to bump up my messages with him more. I don't click with Zod's PM style super well but he's fine. For me though it's just that I'm not super confident how much he likes me, but I feel we have a decent bond at least. Tracer's fine, and Ted/Birdo seem to be clicking too (from Birdo's end, at least), so they'll be a nice side-ally outside of my main alliance of 3/4/9. I've realized that Susan's PMs are really not that substantial, usually a lot of "yeahs" and such and not a lot of dynamic conversation, but she's still alright to talk to. Star is decent but hasn't gotten back for me for over a day, and Donald is not great to talk to but he seems to like me and Tracer, so I'm interested in keeping him around for a while at least. I couldn't care less about Harbinger/Montreal, and I'm pretty sure my relationship with Wenya is tainted if she does survive the Eliminator, but I've realized aligning with her is going to cause more trouble than it's worth given how quickly she turned on Tapu.
So yeah, I think I'm pretty good rocking out with my main alliance of us/3/4/9, and 1, 8, and 10 should be nice allies to work with on the side as well, likely talking the most extensively to 1 out of those 3. 6 should also be manageable as well, but they're probably going to be a target sooner or later so I won't rely on that too much. It seems like me & Ted are going to be pretty safe for quite a while, but I'd imagine it's going to be a bit more trickier once we get to the harder votes in a few rounds.

Omg what a twist!! I almost said where the heck the vote on district 6 came from then remembered that district 11 weren't exactly going to vote for themselves, lol. Alright, with that I think I'm gonna tune out for the night.

Spectator questions! So Tapu Lele v Wenya Zhu and Shadow v Montreal Impact 1) Did you know that these were the districts being sent to the eliminator? (either by the immune pair or from feeling confident on the vote) 2) If you knew, did you in any way warn these districts about being sent and if so, what was the reaction 3) What 2 players do you want to win this eliminator challenge? 4) Describe (in as much detail as possible) the current gladiator battle that is currently going on in the eliminator 5) What's the juiciest gossip you've heard so far this game?

I'll answer those in the morning but before I tune out I just wanna say I feel kind of dumb because I thought for some reason both the primary and secondary votes would be revealed, which makes no sense now that I think about it. That also means I kind of needlessly burned a bridge with Wenya, but not really because I didn't know how to respond to that without it potentially getting back to my allies. Really I think the biggest surprise this round is Wenya not making a public commotion out of it, lol.

...OK. Frankly I would've been pissed if District 11 actually legitimately got away with replacing their district with 1 in the Eliminator, but I think I'm even more pissed that there were apparently 2 sponsers floating around on round 1?? And that's only what was played, jfc. Anyhow, District 12 being nominated is quite fine, although I really hope Tetra wins because she at least doesn't deserve first boot, and it's good at least some advantages went down the drain early. Plus, more likely than not District 11 would just be thrown back into the Eliminator unless Montreal like super steps up his game, which should make the next vote go by smoothly!

Welp I guess you can replace Shadow v Montreal with Harbinger v Tetra now, lol. 1)Yeah, I knew that the original pairs were being submitted at least. I have a pretty good relationship with Zod given he's in my alliance and all, and the choices seemed pretty obvious anyhow. I definitely didn't expect those sponsers being player, however, so I guess we know what the advantage Ted tried to find was, unless that's something different completely. 2)I didn't, mostly because I was worried about what the reaction would be, especially from Wenya, which I don't know if it was a mistake or not, especially since there's a chance she could get paired with Tetra, but I guess we'll see how things shake up. 3)I'd say Tapu/Tetra tbh. I got along Wenya fine beforehand but she might have some vengeance against me, so I'd rather Tapu survive unless Wenya is willing to forgive me, plus they're probably going to be a target which helps stall out having to do difficult votes a bit longer. 4)I'd probably imagine Wenya is slaying Tapu given how much she complained about Tapu apparently throwing the challenge. Harbinger v. Tetra is a bit more difficult though, since I've heard Harbinger's fairly competent at challenges, but I think I'm leaning slightly towards Tetra anyways. 5)Possibly the conflict going on between Wenya and Tapu regarding the latter supposedly doing so bad on the challenge that Wenya's convinced she purposefully threw it, which I'm not entirely sure about but whatever. I guess that conflict's guaranteed to be over this round though, and there's not been any other super juicy gossip to talk about so far.

Last night Ulysses was suspecting the ones who did the best and worst in that eye exam challenge were the ones that received the sponsors, and at least half of that is confirmed now! Not really sure why River decided to publicly share it tbh. Even if she was comfortable telling everyone about it it's not as impactful when you know for sure she told everyone, if that makes any sense. I have a bunch of messages in my inbox now but I'm not entirely inclined to get to them until after the challenge is over, but I'll answer a few here and there. It's kind of going to suck because it'd be midnight for me when we'd get assigned our new PM groups and I don't feel inclined to stay up till 3 AM again like I did the first night of the game. It probably won't matter as much anyways since there's probably only going to be a handful of players I haven't yet talked to.
