Round 1 Recap-
We had a very very delightfully energetic first round! 24 contestants wearing a mask of 24 former victors all joined an arena. We had our first casualties as Goomba and Toxicroak unfortunately were unable to participate in these games and subsequently died...through no fault of the Capitol! I assure you. Ahem. They were instantly replaced by Shadow and Donald who had less time to bond and do their challenges than the other competitors, but both managed to do so and begin working on their social bonds.
Things of note that happened this round. Pikachu got things kicking off to a high pace by being the most constantly active player in the first round. He formed early bonds with Zod and Ulysses and together they all talked and compared notes throughout. Many other bonds and conversations occurred, but when the dust settled, two names came up as potential boot options. 12 had decided to post in L337 5p34k as a posting gimmick and it rubbed over half of the game the wrong way. The other was Tapu Lele who people thought they just weren't bonding with well. Pikachu, Zod, and Ulysses also made a big deal about trying to pair up with people they intended to kill in the Eliminator which was a unique strategy to try to eliminate people they weren't aligned with. In addition, Zod stood out as an early villainous archetype and seemed to really hate the same conversations happening over and over again and had an overall negative tone to his confessionals.
At first River Song didn't bond as well with others, however as the round went on, she kicked it into high gear and by the end was near the top of most people's preferred pairings list. The other thing of note is that River Song dominated the challenge doing better than anyone else by a bit. Will this be a double edged sword? Only time will tell.
Kirby and Gilly, were near the top of most lists indicating they were socially strong in the first round. Their confessionals show distinct strategic mindsets that they will hopefully be able to put to good use. Gilly seemed to bond really well with everyone, nearing the top of over half the game's lists. Kirby on the other hand appeared to be a bit of a snake according to Pikachu in how they handled themselves, which Pikachu promptly pointed out to his allies.
Montreal made only a few posts, mostly declaring himself King and telling people to PM him if they wanted preferences on his partner pairings list.
Ted Cruz was a standout in round 1 for being one of the most enjoyable and quotable characters winning his way into the hearts and laughs of his competition.
Other important things, Wenya Zhu apparently is a bit quirky and is trying to act overly British to her other competitors, Birdo decided sending semi leud autorgraphed Birdo pictures was a good strategy, Susan was noted for being a strong social player, and Shuichi had a late start, but is now typing to everyone in multiparagraphs and won River Song's choice over in a last minute change from Stitch being her #1.
All in all a very lively round 1, will Round 2 match up now that they have been divded by districts?!
Round MVPS:
1. Ted Cruz 2. Pikachu 3. Gilly 4. River Song 5. Zod

ROUND 2 RECAP:
District In-Depth Analysis: District 1-River Song and Shuichi continue to prove they are the team to beat. River Song is socially strong and keeping up by also being good at challenges to boot. And as if that wasn't enough reason to like her, she also found a hidden Sponsor 24 hours before anyone else. She's extremely bright and bubbly, but people have begun to notice her as a social threat. Luckily the sponsor is a nice back up if she needs it. Shuichi is also more social and is doing well in a behind the scenes sort of way. Of the two, Shuichi definitely is the brains of the operation and it shows by helping plan for the challenge and almost coming in for a win at the end. They are definitely worthy of being in the 1st district and I expect them to go far.
At least, I did until River Song was essentially forced to play her sponsor. Now the future is a little less black and white for this team as they are probably still "threats" so to speak. During the eliminator phase, Shuichi comes to the realization that he wants to murder Gilly for a lot of the observations the mods recognized during Round 1. He also proposes to River that they need to talk up the threat level of other districts. River seems apprehensive, but okayish with the plan. At the moment she has played the story that she got her sponsor from coming in first during the first challenge. Most people buy it except Stitch who questions why she had to post about it publicly.
District 2-This started off as a promising partnership, Wenya and Tapu didn't seem to outwardly hate each other. And then the challenge happened. They did not do well and Wenya blames Tapu for it, actively throwing Tapu under the bus in conversation. Neither Wenya nor, Tapu seem to be very socially active and it's being reflected as many other districts want to target them. All-in-all most people expect them to either be an Eliminator nominee or a back up. Their future is looking bleak as a pair.
District 3-This pair is probably the most fascinating pair of all of the Districts. They are weirdly complimentary of each other and work well together. Their observations are similar yet different that they operate on a level rarely seen. In particular Zod picked up on Kirby being super strategic and Fenrir just seems to literally be getting every piece of information that he can. By feeding it to Zod, Zod can then start getting a plan in place. This is the living breathing definition of a highly functioning team.
After being declared winners, Zod is less enthused because now his team will get put in the spotlight for a decision. We will see how they handle it. Fenrir has mentioned a District 3-4-7-9 alliance that was floated by both Gilly and Ted. While Eliminator results were being finalized, Zod gets a lot of information all at once and is handling it like a pro. Not overcommitting and not undercommitting. Definitely going to go far if this trend keeps up. They are ones to watch and are a fascinatingly great team combining unique social and strategic traits. They are also fierce competitors as evidenced in the last few challenges.
District 4-Gilly is a secret social butterfly. We knew this based on the rankings but she is so perceptive and in depth with how they analyze everything its mesmerizing to watch. She is making a secret side alliance with Shuichi to work together which I think will serve her well in the long run. Kirby however, is also socially driven. He has put himself in the know and definitely knows a lot more than he is letting on. The pair of them together is going to be interesting to watch because I'm not sure if they are working together or in spite of each other. That being said if they truly embrace the team thing, I would call them a huge frontrunner just for how socially savvy they both are.
At least, that’s what I thought until a bunch of other districts said they wanted to straight up murder this team. Apparently, Kirby is not being subtle and everyone is catching him talking to everyone. Gilly’s a little less in the spotlight, but at least Shuichi has clocked her as someone he needs to take out. With all of the talk from other teams, I don’t think District 4 is as much of a frontrunner as I thought at the beginning of this round.
District 5-In terms of having time zones that just DO NOT MATCH UP, Star & Coco are probably worse off than any other time. But in spite of this, they seem to be making it work. Star is more active of the two, but isn't generally coming across that well, being called boring by Ulysses. Coco is trying, but ultimately not sure how the time zone will affect this in general. We will see how much longer they can keep making this work.
District 6-This is by far one of the messiest districts aside from 11. Donald does NOT like Pikachu and is not making many social strides to fix that. He seems to be actively trying to get people put him in the eliminator so he can beat Pikachu. On the other hand Pikachu seemed to like Donald until he became less than social towards him. He hopes to beat Donald if they happen to go into the eliminator together. In public they seem to think districts 11 and 2 will get put up first, so they may survive just by simply not being those two. Donald seems to have slowed down on this, so hopefully that bodes well for them. In addition Donald described having extreme love for River towards the end of the round. I'm guessing that was platonic.
District 7-Ted Cruz continues to be the darling of this pair and being so well connected with everyone. He solves the sponsor clue, but is a little under 24 hours late as River Song has already nabbed it. Stitch is beginning to show his strategic side and how he is considering voting for someone despite working with them and rationalizing the decision to do so, case in point Wenya from district 2. As a team though, their specific talks have been a little disjointed, at least publicly. It is possible they are conversing better through PMs.
District 8-12 h45 c0nt1nu3d to keep up on the L337 speak gimmick and it's starting to wane on some people whereas others are eating it up. Susan is a social powerhouse and has been making strong ties with some districts. After 12 accidentally discovers the source image rendering him unable to do the challenge, Susan is forced to participate with a proxy, but does extremely well under the pressure and handles it like a pro. They appear to be working with district 1 and to a lesser degree 3 & 10.
District 9-Ulysses expresses their extreme dislike of Tapu Lele for being "a poor conversationalist." They fear that if Shadow and Montreal win the challenge they could be in danger due to the PM restrictions. Beetlejuice seems to be more into the pairing than Ulysses is. Their strategy was to score in the middle and they are somewhere around there, although not sure if it was a result of them trying or just happening to get that. In the end though, they do seem to be in on working with each other, "Glory to the Grain" so to speak. They appear to have aligned with districts 4 and 10. Something unique this district tried that no other district tried during the challenge was to turn the picture into a grid and use it almost like a game of Battleship in order to try to spot each other’s differences. Though it didn’t net them a win, it definitely seemed to help them in the earlier stages noticing differences left and right.
District 10-Tracer hates Ulysses and feels Ulysses is being condescending to him, but apparently will take that rather than not being talked to which they feel that is the case. Prior to the challenge did not think much of Birdo, but post challenge is ecstatic with Birdo as they performed very admirably in the challenge. Birdo feels frustrated that people don't appreciate having lewd Birdo pics & pseudo flirting thrown at them and feels others need to "lighten up". In general feels frustrated because it seems neither they nor their partner is strongly connected to anyone at this point. They do appear to be attempting to make alliances together, Tracer explicitly gives Birdo advice on the other people and how to talk to them, which Birdo seems receptive of. They were deemed immune after the first challenge, which they might actually have needed.
District 11-Montreal has identified himself as a low effort troll and will eventually play "crackd". He also has said he believes people will come to him, which is yet to be seen. Shadow has become justifiably upset with their partner for a lack of activity and it's affecting them. However in the challenge when their partner literally left halfway through, Shadow pushed on and got one of the best scores of any team almost single handedly. Aside from this, the only things of note is that Montreal played his sponsor and Shadow isn't happy that he has to have another round with Montreal. Will Montreal kick up their activity level? Probably not.
District 12-At first Tetra did not care much for her seemingly inactive partner, however when push came to shove on the challenge, a weird bond of friendship formed and by the end Tetra stated was "proud to have Harbinger as their partner." In addition, Tetra has also dubbed them "Harbinger's of the Wind". Harbinger really seems to care for their partner as well. All-in-all this is one of the more strongly bonded teams after the challenge, even if currently they aren't the best poised to win it. It was a special moment to watch. Tetra does not care for Birdo or Tapu Lele.
TL;DR Version/Overall Recap: In general-Some teams bond others don't. It’s a mix of personalities and time zones that seem to cause the most conflict. In addition, activity is held in high regards as the inactive teams are targeted. After an issue with the first challenge, both Districts 3 and 10 are declared immune, but only District 3 is designated as the immune pair. Their choice could easily effect the game. District 10 is not thrilled at the news of not having sole immunity as they were declared as such and not corrected for 3 hours, but they seem to be adjusting and adapting. Most teams seemed to settle on 11 being the vote with 2 being the back up for the first round. There's some mild drama as Wenya spreads the story that Tapu is sabotaging her to get her out, though it’s unclear if this is true or if this is a construed story. Most other observations center around Kirby overplaying a bit. In addition Donald at one point was willing to go against Pikachu and then wasn't, but it did get discussed.
Although it appeared bleak for District 11, Montreal Impact found out in time and played his sponsor, which he obtained by having the worst challenge score in the first round, that allowed him and Shadow to swap out for District 1. Unfortunately for him, he picked the one other team in the game to have a Sponsor. River Song didn't hesitate to play her Sponsor, which she found by finding the hidden clue in the main banner, as she wasn't comfortable seeing the challenge for the eliminator, and chose to send District 12 in their place. Once the dust settled, one thing was apparent, only one member of District 2 and one Member of District 12 would survive the Eliminator. In the end, Wenya Zhu edged out Tapu Lele and Harbinger decided he would bow out leaving the new District 12 as Wenya Zhu and Tetra.
Final Round MVPs:
1. Zod 2. Fenrir 3. River Song 4. Tracer 5. Shadow
Honorable Mention:
6. Queen of Hearts 7. District 12 Queen of Hearts gets an honorable mention for filling in for district 8 this round, thank you so much for doing that. You really helped us out in a pickle there.
District 12 gets an honorable mention, mostly for Tetra and Harbinger’s very camaraderie moment post challenge. Sadly this is the only round they will get it as a District as they were forced to face each other in the Eliminator.

Round 3 RecapDistrict In-Depth Analysis: District 1-River Song performs less than stellar in the challenge, but is still helping her team by keeping up with the social dynamics. A public call out to Montreal about lack of activity seems not necessarily to rub some other Districts the right way, whereas others couldn't agree more. In addition, she reveals to District 7 how she really obtained the Sponsor, we will see if this is a poor decision or not in future rounds to come. Shuichi has been less than active this round in terms of visibility but doesn't seem to be doing anything wrong necessarily. Most of his posts pretty much are supporting River's decision to talk to District 7. When Shuichi does become active post challenge, he gives River advice on how to handle a specific social situation. Long term, we will see how that goes, but in the short term it appears to have been the smarter plan as now they've created trust between themselves and District 7.
District 3-Zod has an internal debate on whether or not to be a challenge threat, and decides in the end to be a challenge threat by submitting the best possible score one can obtain. Except, plot twist! He doesn’t and makes a last minute change to submit a less than perfect score, which is still considerably good. Zod definitely indicates he wants an 11/12 nomination here. Fenrir pipes in stating that Ulysses has explicitly told him to only PM him about the vote and nothing else, which he finds off-putting. He also gives an in depth look into the Districts as a whole and how he views them. After discussion, Zod seems to get his way about 11, but not 12 as indicated by their vote of District 11 and District 6. As a district, they both decide it might be nice to throw the next couple of challenges intentionally.
District 4-Kirby expresses a like for District 12 and wants to keep them around, presumably as a number. This seems to go against a decent chunk of the game, but we will see if they get their way. After some time passes, several districts seem more set on not voting District 12, so it indeed seems like Kirby's preference might have some ground. Gilly expresses some distress over seeing the Sponsors played and it seems to affect their gameplay as they seem paralyzed by the idea of these items. It causes a shift in tone which most others are picking up on.
District 5-Time Zones continue to affect this pair's ability to talk to each other. Coco Pommel is all but invisible this episode. Star has some content as being one of the only people to score a perfect score on the last challenge. In addition some other Districts seem to want to potentially put them up as a target, but ultimately settle for 11 and 6. Future rounds may see this district in the Eliminator. Except that time is now as towards the end of the vote, District 8 decides at the last minute to put them up. The future is now! Who will survive?
District 6-At the beginning of the round, both Donald and Pikachu try to find some common ground in who to ally with. Districts 7, 9 & 10 come up as three districts they can tentatively try to work on aligning with. After Donald fails to submit the challenge, Pikachu hears about Donald trying to get rid of him from Kirby and asks if Donald can confirm District 4 is trying to split them up. Donald posts that things irl aren't great right now, but will do his best to press on. He confirms he was saying he was less than thrilled about Pikachu as a partner in the previous round, not sure how well that will go over. We later find out that apparently Pikachu doesn't...care? Okay. It appears Pikachu has more problem with Donald not submitting than previously wanting to potentially target him. Despite seeming like an early pick for the block, Pikachu makes attempts to quell rumors that he wants to go in, and Donald having a hard time IRL both are contributing factors in keeping them safe another round.
District 7-Apparently, a lot of talk has been going on behind the scenes between Ted & Stitch. Stitch reports that District 5 has been floated as a potential name for elimination this round. After District 1 reveals how they got the Sponsor, both Ted and Stitch seem content that most Sponsors aren't in the game any longer. Neither seems to really voice an early opinion on vote preference. Arguably District 7 is playing one of the best games right now. They aren't a threat and they are socially active. A great example of this is that they've pulled the wool over Tracer's eyes that they like Birdo and Tracer believes it at face value. Its not like they hate Birdo by any means, but its not one of their stronger connections. This is probably one of the better more interesting plays this round. Ted also manages to get River through a very tactfully worded PM to admit how she got the sponsor and it works. But they are keeping that info to their district for the time being as that shows trust. It's a very crafty move and now they have info no one else knows. This stems from the work Ted Cruz put in last round to figure out the idol clue but was late in solving it.
District 8-Both Susan and 12 did great on the challenge and clocked in with a fantastic score. Aside from some trash talk of District 4 and expressing liking District 12 a bit, they haven't discussed much strategy yet. Shadow from District 11 has expressed wanting to be put in the eliminator to them, but Susan seems apt to want to make the vote on them, so they can pick someone else directly. Later on, Susan discusses the possibility of putting up Districts 5 or 6, but starts to have feelings about putting up 6 after Donald's public admission that things aren't going well IRL. 12 apparently feels comfortable enough to have mostly not weighed in on anything, but it's put Susan a little bit on edge as a result. This District could be unified or we could see a slight division after the indecisiveness.
District 9-Beetlejuice expresses early interest in seeing District 5 go into the eliminator due to Coco's lack of activity. In addition, he guesses he wouldn't mind Districts who were put in the eliminator go back, aka 11 and 12. Ulysses seems publicly active, but not generally respected by other districts. Having a semi condescending and brash tone is rubbing people the wrong way, but because they are active no one seems willing to do anything about it at the moment. Beetlejuice is potentially starting to perk up as someone who people like, but will likely have to put in more effort if they want to continue to avoid the Eliminator as a pair.
District 10-Birdo apparently has some issues irl that are causing them some grief and stress and apologizes to Tracer. Tracer in turn is super sympathetic and offers to listen and support Birdo, reassuring them that she hasn't heard anything bad about Birdo from anyone else so far. People seem to be warming up to Birdo, whereas others aren't. Tracer is definitely more liked of the pair still. Tracer continues to be a social powerhouse as the rounds go on, but possibly trying to juggle the work to figure things out has put the blinders on a bit as we see in a communication in her district some info that doesn't quite match up with what other Districts are discussing, such as District 7 "being good with Birdo." Its not that they hate Birdo by any means, but it's not the full truth of the matter.
District 11-Shadow is finally fed up with Montreal Impact not talking to him and is avidly asking to go into the Eliminator at this point. Pretty sure no one blames him. Montreal makes a rare appearance and is almost immediately jokingly called out by River Song, which he immediately tells Shadow he doesn't like...and then proceeds to vanish into Canadian Hockey oblivion. Shadow seems aghast that Montreal spoke. Unfortunately, Montreal's 2 posts weren't enough to save this district and with 18 total votes over 2 rounds accumulating all bout 3 (2 of which were their own), they are once again in the Eliminator...this time without a sponsor to save them.
Hybrid District 12-Wenya immediately calls out District 3 in public which makes Tetra feel uncomfortable and ask her to stop. Tetra expresses that "River is canceled" indicating she doesn't care for her. Wenya has apparently been trying to spread the notion that Pikachu wants to put up District 6 for being upset with Donald's challenge performance. And even though Pikachu confirms that's not the case, a lot of districts seem to be indicating that it’s their preference to do so, meaning possibly there was some movement from all of this? Despite some movement, Wenya later appears to have rubbed a lot of people the wrong way in trying to spread this notion. However, Tetra has done a lot of work getting in the good graces of basically everyone and of the two makes fewer waves. She single handedly may keep District 12 from being put up this round through sheer social game, which is pretty damn impressive given Wenya seems more likely to go against the grain and almost be the reason they go up again.
TL;DR Version/Overall Recap: Overall-This has been a much quieter round than the last one (meaning fewer posts). People seem to be mostly focusing on real life or the challenge and many players note that there's a lack of communication going on. 11 and 12 are discussed as potential targets this around along with 5 and 6. After District 8 is declared the winners of a challenge, most Districts expect them to put up 6. The other non-immune districts have an early preference for 11 going up. A lot of the discussion focuses around these four districts and which to put up. In addition trying to get a decision from 8 on what to do appears to have caused a bit of a standstill, its possible things will heat up before the votes are revealed, but unlikely.
Finally, after almost a full day of agony, District 8 finally settles on putting up District 5 into the Eliminator. This apparently solidified the idea that everyone else would put up District 11, except for District 10 who decided to shake things up a bit by joining District 11 and voting for District 6. No one knows it was them who did this, but it has caused a little bit of a stir. Despite a valiant effort by Montreal Impact and The Star Worn By Verka Serduchka, it wasn't enough to defeat Shadow and Coco Pommel who now enter the game as District 5.
MVPs:
1. Ted Cruz 2. Stitch 3. Tetra 4. Shuichi Saihara 5. Tracer

Round 4 Recap:District In-Depth Analysis: District 1-Shuichi's real life gets in the way prompting the need for a deadline extension. Mostly inactive during the challenge portion in the round, he and River pretty much spend their time discussing a strategy beforehand, which actually seems to pay off with a good result. River posts a bunch of memes in her confessional and makes a really good connection with Susan who has nothing but glowing things to say about her.
During the voting phase, River learns early on that 6/5 are likely to be the votes. Given she expressed interest in working with District 6, she tries to see if she can find a way to plant some seeds either this round or the next to have District 4 targeted. Given she seems to have more social sway than Shuichi at the moment, her comments don't fall on deaf ears, however she's less connected to the other districts she is trying to appeal to than she realizes. Most see District 1 as an "ace in the hole" so to speak. Shuichi's inactivity and lack of connections to others isn't helping the situation at the moment.
District 3-After almost spending 3 full days on the challenge for what appears to have been a success, District 3 once again has the hot seat for making the decision as the immune pair. They are pretty content to sit on a District 5/6 boot this round after the results are up. That being said, they are listening and hear valid concerns. But Fenrir does a stellar job of handling the info he gets, mostly from River at this point, and identifies that if they take out District 6, there's a good chance District 1 will be more isolated and dependent on them to make any moves. Zod also manages info he's getting on his end, actively being social and taking the reins on this round. He firmly sticks his guns when presented with options, but openly acknowledges the time will come soon when it will be time to make a distinct move.
After it leaks that they are considering putting up District 6, Zod gets flooded with messages from Pikachu and seems annoyed by this calling him "actual poison." If their decision wasn't already made, pretty sure this seals it for them. Their vote appears to have been made. While the Eliminator challenge happens, Fenrir is approached by Gilly who tells him that she has a game plan that she wants to reveal to him and immediately tells Zod. And Zod's like, “this should be interesting.” This move actually wins favor with Zod who had previously been trying to sell Fenrir under the bus.
District 4-Kirby and Gilly are largely not visible this episode as most of their discussions take place privately. District 1 has pegged them as largely unable to go far with and is planting the seeds for hopefully what will be an interesting downfall. At the moment, Susan likes Gilly, but doesn't trust Kirby. This appears to be largely due to Kirby overplaying and trying to massively be "in control." He promises in his confessional that he will "push for moves" if they lose, and well they lost and whether or not a move has been made by this district is yet to be seen. Gilly is essentially inactive and states that she is boring because nothing is happening, in her confessional.
New District 5-After having survived the Eliminator, District 5 struggles to find times to talk about the challenge and struggles to socially work their way into anything. Despite barely avoiding instant Eliminator, they don't seem to really be trying to do anything to help their case. Coco has been deemed inactive by many. Shuichi does tell Shadow his district is being targeted, which Shuichi hopes will shake things up. Unfortunately, after talking to Zod, Shadow fails to even mention another district to go after. Despite being pitied by District 3, there doesn't seem to be much that they are doing to actively avoid going right back in the Eliminator.
District 6-After frustratingly having a difficult time even completing the challenge, somehow District 6 manages to avoid instantly going into the Eliminator by the skin of their teeth. That being said, the writing is pretty much on the walls for this District to go into the Eliminator. District 3 actively wants them out and despite other Districts potentially interested in working with this pair, they are seen as an easy target. Somehow, Donald thinks that Zod loves him and tells Pikachu as such. Pikachu seems to be cool with this so long as Donald is sure, and Donald seems pretty sure, even though he's wrong. All-in-all this District doesn't seem like they will get through this round without facing the Eliminator. As the round progresses, Pikachu learns District 3 is nominating them and literally begins spamming Zod with a shit ton of messages.
District 7-Like District 3, this District spent almost 3 full days on the challenge. Though they scored in the top 3, they were unable to cinch a win here. As usual, they are in the hub of social activity, but we finally start to see a few minor cracks. Ted expresses some annoyance with Stitch during the challenge because Stitch asks a shit ton of questions. Later he is more appreciative of the work that went into it, but in any case we see that not all is perfect in paradise. Neither seem to want to rock the boat and neither talks much this round. We shall see if this changes as the round progresses. Both seem to still be at the center of everyone’s plans and Ted Cruz especially still stays in the good graces of everyone. Stitch is good, just less good socially than Ted Cruz.
District 8-Susan is the epitome of not rocking the boat. 12 expresses that he wants District 3 out and wants them out now, but Susan pushes back and essentially says it’s not the time to consider that. A poor challenge performance almost lands this district in the Eliminator, coming in 2nd to last. They are able to scrape by and survive another round. Will Susan's complacency keep this team from making the moves that 12 wants to or will she eventually cave and let 12 have his way?
This district isn't on the same page at all currently. Susan is approached by River at some point and given info about District 4, she pushes back saying that she doesn't want to send Gilly to the Eliminator. At some point, the dam is going to have to break and they will have to start voting other Districts, but for now Susan is making sure she's in control and having things go her way.
Later on in the round, 12 expresses feeling like Zod is being a jerk to him, and Susan no longer can avoid this. She seems to talk about wanting to get District 4 out in the near future, which means that the seeds District 1 was trying to plant may actually have some movement which is exciting!
District 9-A unique approach to the challenge almost gives this District a win. However, a few missed details cost them what would have been an upset for the ages. District 9 is fine to stay in what they believe is the majority alliance of 3-4-7-9. Ulysses in particular doesn't seem to want to rock any boats. Beetlejuice isn't overly active and mostly seems interested in getting everyone to like him and show off wacky antics. This is a very unorthodox district, not sure how far they will go if they just continue to sheep a majority as they don't seem to be near the top of anyone's ally lists.
District 10-This is a District itching to make a move. They recognize they may not be the best at challenges and that there are Districts that will curb stomp them. Birdo appears ready to make a move, but Tracer thinks they don't have an opportunity yet. Tracer's read on the situation appears to be correct as most Districts seem to be settling on 5/6. Hopefully they aren't axed before they can pull the trigger they so desperately appear to want to pull.
New District 12-Wenya rubs people the wrong way. Tetra seems liked, but no one is willing to really consider working with this pair. Luckily for those other Districts, they don't have to currently, as a twist and a poor performance showing puts this District in the Eliminator. Wenya essentially peaces out and lets Tetra handle their vote for the round, and Tetra seems pretty defeated, even stating that she is likely to die in 72 hours, even though this could be a round they try to help put up other people they could maybe beat. All-in-all, this could be the demise of District 12 entirely. TL;DR version: Overall-This is a really quiet round filled with complacency. Despite seeing Districts 1 & 10 try to do things to possibly shake up the game a bit, pretty much all other Districts settle on just going for yet another inactives round. With 12 as the District up for elimination, most deem Coco and Donald as the strongest two reasons to put up 5 and 6. District 3's win in the challenge pretty much seals this as the plan, and with little to no other resistance, most other Districts fall in line.
There's a small stir to try and put up District 4 over District 6, but District 3 firmly puts their foot down, and after Pikachu spams Zod with PMs, it’s kind of clear why.
Unfortunately, Coco Pommel needed to medevac and was unable to participate in the Eliminator game, leaving 5 other tributes to battle for a chance to get out. Of the remaining competitors only Donald was unable to nab a perfect score. Despite a valiant effort from everyone, Shadow and Pikachu were unable to clinch a spot back in the game, and against all odds, District 12 composed of Tetra and Wenya Zhu, who were able to get a perfect score faster than the aforementioned, have survived the Eliminator as a fully intact pair! MVPs:
1. Fenrir 2. Zod 3. Ted Cruz 4. Stitch 5. River Song
NOTE: Next round only 4 MVPs will be named

Round 5 Recap:District In-Depth Analysis: District 1-River Song spent the majority of this round trying to get District 4 voted out. However, unfortunately for her, District 4 won the immunity challenge, thus ensuring her move would not work. Shuichi and River are now playing defensively to try and make sure they aren't put up. By virtue of being active and District 4 wanting to target the inactives, they may just survive, but playing hard and risky is not paying off for this pair this round.
However, when Susan mentions she is interested in a D7 or D9 vote to save themselves, River and Shuichi both see an opportunity to potentially save an ally from the Eliminator. Shuichi isn't thrilled about D7 but is willing to consider D9. In fact, Shuichi gives ammo to maybe help push others to want to vote D9 also specifically mentioning that Ulysses doesn't care for Birdo. Unfortunately, all of D1's scheming to try to shake things up has apparently come back to finally bite them as D4 puts them up in a shocking turn of events with little to no context, though a lot of assumptive implications.
They eventually learn they are the nominees that will be put up and decide in a crazy strategic move to pull in District 3 and 7 to get District 9 put up in the hopes they can out challenge them. Although the gamble does not pay off as they are both eliminated in the Eliminator, their efforts this round were commendable and in almost any other round would have been a fantastic strategy.
District 3-Both Zod and Fenrir agree to a 90% challenge performance, which is exactly what they give. After yet another strong challenge showing, District 3 is the de facto District to beat in this game. With 2 immunity wins and 2 other strong performances, along with Fenrir's great score during the initial challenge, this team is physically far and by far ahead of the competition. Even not winning, they are always probably going to score high.
Zod is a strategic mastermind, soaking up all of the info he is getting and managing it like a pro. Specifically he knows people intend to go after 4 and knows that this will pit one side of the game against the other, and because of how PM groups work, has figured out that he can control the flow of information. To say he is a strategic mastermind is putting it lightly. That being said, people are catching on to the Scary District 3, so if they are unable to keep performing in tip top shape, we could see this District in trouble in the near future. Despite an early strategy of trying to throw challenges to reduce threat level, their new plan is to try to immunity run it all the way to the end.
District 4-Prior to the end of the challenge, there was a lot of talk about trying to take out District 4 by other teams, especially District 1. After a strong, impressive challenge performance by District 4, they came out on top, edging out a win over District 3, which silenced those who wanted to gun for them. Initial talks from Kirby include putting up District 12, 1 or 8. Most other Districts hear from them that 12 is the likely nomination from them. Unfortunately, because Gilly is still not posting anything in her confessional or her District chat, we are unable to see what Gilly is doing aside from saying District 12. Kirby is a bit more visible and shows some trouble in paradise as he and Gilly apparently aren't quite seeing eye to eye about how this round will shake out.
However, rather than the District 12 nomination most were expecting, with little to no context, Gilly throws up District 1 in the voting thread. Thanks to context from District 7, we know that apparently Kirby and Gilly are fighting about whether or not 8 or 1 should be the nomination. Despite weak reasoning given to other teams, District 4's (and specifically Gilly's) choice to put up District 1 was right on the money. That being said, they are ultimately blindsided this round. After informing others of their intention to nominate District 1, other Districts conspired to vote in District 9 rather than District 12. Will this ultimately cost them in the long run?
District 7- It seems like this district has lost some of its social prowess, as multiple districts immediately bring them up as a potential option to vote out. It seems like they are banking on the 3-4-7-9 alliance to pan out, but want to keep District 1 in their back pocket as an exit strategy in future rounds, specifically Stitch. Whether or not this ultimately works for them remains to be seen. When the discussion of D9 or D7 comes up, neither Shuichi, nor River Song waste time in saying "Keep D7" meaning that Stitch's plan to keep D1 in their back pocket may be working with this possible back up vote stirring up. However, they are now caught in the middle as Shuichi has confirmed that they are likely to vote D9. Stitch gets the information and asks Ted what they should do here. Stitch also is debating suggesting that D4 puts up D8.
As the round goes on, it is revealed that they prefer a D8 nomination over D1 but don't especially work to convince D4, with Ted saying that it's "not too big of a deal" to lose D1. They weigh their options carefully, including the perceived challenge strength of District 1 and District 9, before deciding to vote in District 9. They decide to blindside D4 and D9 so as to not put themselves in danger of being nominated themselves this round.
District 8-This is one of the last districts to communicate about the challenge and about the game in general. This causes some anxiety for Susan who feels she is carrying this team socially on her back and it’s starting to get to her. When 12 does finally check in, he confirms that he isn't doing well and he's having a hard time with this game. Susan gives him a huge heartfelt pep talk to reaffirm she is proud to have him as her partner and she is sorry that he's having a rough time, but that she can't do this without him, needs him on her side, and needs to know what they plan to do to continue surviving. They quickly decide who is taking on which puzzle series around the same time, with 12 taking the harder and Susan taking the easier.
Despite a valiant challenge effort, District 8 is unable to win the challenge. 12 expresses to other players that he plans to leave the game in the near future, leaving Susan's fate in this game a little uncertain. Susan, however, ain't going down without a fight. And despite a partner that is, for all intents and purposes, done, she kicks it into high gear to figure out how to survive the round. After seeing District 4 nominate 1 over other districts, it appears Susan may have indeed saved herself, but at the cost of her #1 allies. How will this serve her in the future?
District 9-Neither Beetlejuice nor Ulysses seem very active this round. Their complacency in the 3-4-7-9 alliance seems to be reaching a peak finally. They have pulled the blinders on after barely surviving elimination last round and seem to be fine to sheep a majority. Most of what we get about them are other people talking about them as potential allies vs a possible backup boot to save Susan from the Eliminator.
The backup boot suddenly becomes the main boot in a shocking last minute twist as they are blindsided by former allies District 3 and District 7 who jump on board the train and are sent to the Eliminator.
In the Eliminator, Beetlejuice enacts a strategy to do whatever it takes to ensure Ulysses survives, and it pans out as an early kill of Shuichi and then being an easy kill for River to let her guard down, allows his partner to continue on. Ulysses has a drink in his name and prepares to be part of the new District 10.
District 10-After such a strong start to the game, it’s almost disappointing to see Tracer essentially go invisible for a good chunk of the round. Birdo is getting radio silence after asking for almost two days for Tracer to respond. After Tracer finally responds with 7 hours left in the challenge, they pick roles. Unfortunately, Birdo's concentration is more affected by illness than expected, and they come up short. Since this is a twist round, the formerly formidable challenge beasts have fallen from grace and will be participating in the Eliminator. Both seem defeated by this prospect.
In the Eliminator, Tracer makes a game changing move by being one of the first people (aside from Zod) to actively stab his former partner. His aggressive strategy of going for two kills almost lands him in hot water, but luckily for him a River stab by Ulysses saves him just long enough to survive the eliminator via tiebreaker! Unfortunately for Birdo, however, this final betrayal is the final nail in the coffin.
New District 12-This District cannot seem to catch a break this game. Their challenge performance was decent, but not enough to keep them safe, and almost immediately they become a target again. They are probably both very tired of hearing the same tune every round. There is an outside chance that this could flip this round, but that remains to be seen. Neither Tetra nor Wenya seem to be the reason that will happen.
Towards the end of the round, their break finally comes as Susan goes balls to the wall in order to prevent herself from being put up. This shifts the focus off of them and onto Districts 1 and 9. Luckily, they seem to be looped in on this and are able to find themselves on the side of a majority vote for the first time in rounds. Tetra and Wenya are not out yet! TL;DR Version/Overall Recap- Overall-We see a ton of movement this round. This game shakes up in major ways. Most tributes start off assuming the three Districts going in will be 8, due to 12 not PMing, 10, due to a lack of connection with Tracer or Birdo, and 12 since they've "already gone in a few times." However, District 1 decides its time to pull the trigger on District 4 and plants the seeds, which seem to stick! Unfortunately for them, but fortunately for District 4, they win the challenge, meaning they are not eligible to be voted out. Also, District 10 automatically is put into the eliminator due to the twist this round by having the worst performance.
Their primary target immune, District 1 scrambles to try and put the votes on anyone else. Initially after winning, District 4 expresses the desire of nominating District 8 due to 12 mentioning they were not planning on staying in the game much longer. However, Susan learns of this and is not okay with going to the Eliminator, so in an act of desperation, Susan approaches D1 to suggest a D7 or D9 nomination. D1 pretty much vetoes D7 right off the bat since they have grown fond of them, but think that D9 might be perfect as they are close with D4. After talking to D7 about this, Stitch expresses concern about going against 3-4-7-9 aliance and mulls it over. In the meantime, Susan approaches Tetra and Wenya about going against D9, and they seem to be super receptive of this.
In the meantime, D3 gets looped in on the plan to go after D9, presumably by D1 or D8, and Zod almost immediately seizes the opportunity to jump ship, which pretty much forces D7's hand as now there are at least 4/7 votes on D9. D10 joins up later in the game, giving D9 six votes to the 1 vote against D12. In a clear blindside, D9 goes into the eliminator. Prior to all of this, District 4, specifically Gilly, decides its time for District 1 to die over District 8 for feeling less close to them than other districts. There's some debate between her and Kirby about this, but eventually they settle on this. In one of the most active rounds in the game so far, D10, D1, and D9 are all sent into the Eliminator.
After a very cut throat game of Hunt, Gather, Hide, Shuichi and Birdo are killed by Beetlejuice & Tracer respectively. The next round is a bit of a stalemate. The final round has Tracer/River killing Beetlejuice and Ulysses killing River to have both Tracer and Ulysses as the survivors of the Eliminator. Will this new Hybrid team be able to help cause another epic round and change the tides of this game? Find out next recap! Round MVPs:1-Susan 2-Zod 3-Gilly 4-River Song (RIP )

Round 6 Recap:District In-Depth Analysis:
District 3-Zod is still up to his evil scheming ways. His plan to set up District 7 seems to be paying off as most other Districts in the game are now focused on them. He confirms this by getting Susan on board first and continuing to sell the narrative that District 7 were the ones that helped send District 9 to the Eliminator prior.
Unfortunately, this somewhat ingenious play goes unrewarded as District 7 pulls out a huge win in the challenge, upsetting what District 3 was laying the groundwork for.
Fenrir, although present, mostly seems to just be going along with what Zod wants which ends up being a District 4 vote. With a last minute switch from District 12, their plan succeeds in a 4-2 vote.
District 4-After a disappointing loss in the challenge, Gilly seems to lose a lot of enthusiasm for the game. Kirby however, works his little butt off trying to scramble to ensure Districts 10 and 12 stick with the plan. Although it ultimately doesn't amount to anything, the effort is appreciated.
During their time in the Eliminator, Kirby gets time to talk to Susan one on one about how to return once Gilly essentially decides to opt not to do the challenge publicly, allowing Kirby to be the automatic survivor. In spite of some past dealings, Kirby seems to come to the realization that Susan is a good person to work with due to her connections.
He also learns a lot about the perception people have of him which seems to really help him soften his tune. Will this ultimately get him back on track? At this point it's unsure.
One thing I'd like to note, is based on a lack of communication from the prior round I was under the assumption Gilly made the choice to send District 1, but Kirby appears to be the person who strongly put his foot down on the matter and ultimately after showing that Kirby has more enthusiasm for this game via Gilly, I'm inclined to believe it.
District 7-Pre challenge, this District seemed to have lost all steam for this game. They were acting defeated and saying that they sorta felt lost and detached from everything.
However, once the challenge happened and they won by a commanding amount, their tune changed.
Stitch in particular seemed to work very hard this round at making connections happen. He specifically worked really hard to communicate and be the liaison for his District despite Ted Cruz having some real life issues. The amount of work put in didn't go unnoticed as it seemed to be a potential tipping point in helping get District 12 to ultimately vote with them. Although not necessary as their tiebreaking vote would have won it, it's a feat in and of itself.
District 8-12 opts to leave the game as the round starts making Susan the only member of this team. She takes her position pretty well, though being essentially auto-immune, it's not too hard for her to talk to others as she is essentially trying to decide who she wants as her partner going forward.
Overall, there's not a whole lot to say except Susan seems more than happy to send District 4 to the eliminator as she hopes that one of Gilly or Kirby will be able to help her sift through the various social conversations and help her actually win challenges to the end.
New District 10-Time zones seem not to line up for the survivors of District 10. Tracer in particular claims to have gotten new energy from having Ulysses as his partner, but then disappears for a good majority of the round.
Ulysses on the other hand goes right back to working with District 4 and hoping they can keep District 12 with them. Unfortunately, that doesn't end up working out and towards the end he figures it out, but leaves his vote on District 3 just so that he leaves a somewhat open working relationship for the survivor.
New District 12-This district is a hot mess. Tetra and Wenya Zhu cannot seem to get on the same page no matter what they do. The challenge is the epitome of this relationship as about halfway through starting, Tetra just "has to go" leaving Wenya Zhu unable to complete the challenge and having to settle for an awful score.
In spite of this, this pair is in the hot seat this round as they have to make a choice. Do they go for District 3 in the vote with 4 and 10, or do they go for District 4 with 3, 8 and 7? Although ultimately they do choose to go for 4 and opt to take a non tiebreaker way out of it, there doesn't seem to be a lot of cohesion between these two and it's apparent in their vote switching.
They both seem to not be universally respected by other teams and at one point Zod even states "they are lucky to be here". I have no idea what to expect from District 12, but in spite of all odds they have gotten this far and whether they know it or not they are in a fantastic position to potentially get to the end of the game.
TL;DR Version/Overall Recap: Overall-The intensity of the last round and aftermath really shaped how this round would go. Early indications were that there were two sides, those who sided with District 3 and those who sided with District 4. District 8 and 12 were the key Districts this round as where they voted decided where things went. District 7 was pretty much forced to work with District 3 after a crippling lie that turned out to be a half truth/manipulation by Zod landed them in hot water. And although it looked like District 7 might have a difficult time surviving intact through this round...
They ended up winning the challenge! Unfortunately, because 12 chose to end their journey this round, District 8 was the de facto "into the Eliminator" tribe so they were unable to give a nomination. There was a lot of back and forth between getting rid of the challenge beast District 3, or the semi less challenge beat but social beast District 4. In the end, a last minute change by District 12 gave a 4-2 advantage to sending District 4 to the Eliminator.
However, the Eliminator was short lived as almost immediately Gilly decided they'd had enough and ingested some nightlock berries, leaving Kirby and Susan as the only two people left to come back from it. They have a little time as a newly formed district to talk before the round is over and it doesn't appear that they will have any issues at least working together for the time being.
Round MVPs 1-Zod 2-Stitch 3-Kirby 4-Susan
NOTE: starting next round and for the final couple of rounds, we will be only listing 3 MVPs.

Round 7 Recap:District In-Depth Analysis: District 3-Both Zod and Fenrir have made note that they have to essentially win the challenge to ensure that they continue on as a pair. Unfortunately, they soon realize that the challenge isn't something they can just outright win. Despite good communication and coming in second, their effort in the survivor bot challenge wasn't enough to outright give them a win.
After that it was a matter of trying to avoid being the direct nomination by District 7 and play the primary and secondary votes in a way that gets them out of the situation. Zod took the reigns and attempted to get things to swing his way.
Unfortunately, his efforts fell on deaf ears and District 7 with little to no hesitation put them up for the Eliminator. The challenge and strategic powerhouse duo finally was forced to face one another.
District 7-After the last challenge win, District 7 seemed to be on top of the world. They had momentum and excitement. However, they knew if they wanted to keep themselves out of the Eliminator, they needed to keep it up.
And fortunately, due to an amazing survivorbot that Stitch spent a long time working on, they successfully continued the winning streak! With another win came great responsibility. Their choice last time proved to be correct, but could District 7 keep up the good decisions?
Their choice to pick District 3 in the end was likely the correct one. Despite Zod trying to worm his way into getting out of the Eliminator, Stitch and Ted made a decision that will hopefully prove to be a winning one in the long run. As the official last OG district standing, 7 has a tough road ahead of them, will they keep up the winning streak or fall short of the goal with only 3 rounds remaining?
New District 8-Susan and Kirby waste no time trying to integrate themselves into a constantly shifting environment. It works really well and for the first time in awhile Susan seems to finally have a functioning partner that complements her well.
Despite not winning the challenge, Susan plays an active role in working with District 12 here. She bonds with Tetra and is likely one of the strong reasons they decide to flip on their alliance previously. Susan is quite charming and most other players seem to respect her.
However, with fewer voting rounds left to go, Susan will need to rely not just on social strength, but challenge strength. She hasn't really had the test of the Eliminator to show what she is made of and it remains to be seen if she has what it takes to match Kirby's strength in challenges. A lot of how this team does will come down to how they handle the final few rounds, which remains to be seen.
New District 10-Despite a decent showing in the challenge, this district had some major communication issues this round. Tracer and Ulysses, despite a good start to this round, have not been able to follow up. Tracer in particular continues to be plagued by real life obligations to the point that she often won't respond to Ulysses for days at a time.
This particular round they find themselves unable to get in with the majority which lands them in hot water, and ultimately sends them back into the Eliminator.
New District 12-Despite not always seeming to be on the first page, District 12 is now in an interesting position as although tribes view them as weak, their vote actually has weight the next two rounds. The big dogs are slowly picking off each other and 12 essentially has pick of the litter.
Ultimately, after District 7 picks District 3, District 12, Tetra in particular, works with Susan and Kirby from District 8 to decide to put up District 10 to send them right back. It's a seemingly simple choice, but for District 12, the longer they can continue to outlast their competition, the higher their chances of making the end are, even if not as a pair.
TL;DR Version/Overall Recap: Overall-District 3 and District 7 are by far the most talked about teams. That being said, District 3 had done a good job of setting up District 7 for an epic fall. This coupled with District 7 feeling the pressure from the set up, it seemed like this district was in for a world of hurt.
But unfortunately for them, their entire plans came crashing down when District 7 narrowly defeated them in the challenge. This seemed to inspire confidence in District 7 who had felt pretty down about the state of the game prior. Discussions early on after their decisive win centered mostly around D10 and D3 with very minor discussions about what to do about D12.
D7's decision to send D3 to the eliminator kickstarted the rest of the round which became pretty much one sided on D10. D12 was a backup vote for a few, but with D7 unwavering in their choice, it pretty much seals the deal for D10 as the vote.
In the eliminator, all four of the contestants fight hard, but it is Fenrir and Tracer who survive and take the two slots for the next District. And thus we say goodbye to Ulysses and Zod, arguably two of the biggest characters this season.
MVPs1-Stitch 2-Susan 3-Zod (rip )

Round 8 Recap:District In-Depth Analysis: New District 3-Fenrir and Tracer hit the ground running as soon as they return. They strategize and ultimately have fantastic communication during the challenge.
Unfortunately, due to an unexpected nearly flawless challenge performance by District 12, they lose the challenge by about 13 points. Due to their performance, it’s not much of a surprise when District 12 makes the choice to break them up.
Fenrir and Tracer go right back into the Eliminator after having returned from it. The short lived District 3 v2 seems to have run out of luck.
District 7-The last OG District. Ted Cruz and Stitch know that this is their final round. Winning the challenge is key here and is the only thing keeping them out of the eliminator.
Unfortunately, their score in the challenge is not good enough, in spite of intensive practice sessions together. They manage to not be put up by the immune pair, however they receive votes from both of their other voting districts sending them into the eliminator 2-1.
We say goodbye to the final OG District, but eagerly await the return of one of them to see how the resulting Hybrid team will shake out.
New District 8- Kirby feels extremely confident going into this challenge. He makes it very well known that he has played this game before and takes the lead. Susan is happy just to follow.
Unfortunately, during the challenge despite having 4 perfect scores, they botch one of the locations and end up coming in last. That's not to say their challenge performance wasn't great, but it just wasn't enough to do well.
However Susan and Kirby leverage this and make it work. Being the "worst placing" district helps keeps the votes off them this round and they are able to convince District 3 to put in District 7 alongside them. Their work does guarantee a place in the final three teams, but they will have to have amazing coordination to survive.
New District 12-Up until this round District 12 mostly was around as someone who "was there". They were never a huge presence in challenges, and aside from being a swing vote during the final 6 teams, their agency was mostly as a number.
However, after a masterful challenge performance, heavily credited to Wenya Zhu, they win their first challenge all game. This comes as a shock to most who watch as they essentially spent no time preparing for the challenge and barely do it within the time constraints, still managing to get several amazing quips about Costco in the process. With it, also comes their first Immune decision all game. With some coordination, they go with the smart decision and send the newly formed District 3 into the eliminator to split up what otherwise could be the understated challenge threats.
With District 12 hitting their stride late in the game, can they keep up the win streak in order to get into the coveted finale? Being the first Hybrid pair ever formed in the game, they have lasted longer than almost every other district, OG or Hybrid. It would be quite an underdog story.
TL;DR Version/Overall Recap: Overall-The challenge involves playing a game called Geoguessr. This involves finding a location on a map within 150 meters based on locational information only. One team member uses the internet to try and find it, the other gives them clues based on their images.
Most of the Districts do well, but District 12 stuns for the first time all game since the Cornucopia round by pulling out the win of the century. This comes as an upset, beating several other "favored" districts. Their choice goes to District 3 which will split up the other challenge threat district.
District 3's vote becomes crucial as a result of this choice and ultimately their vote for District 7 sends the other threatening team into the Eliminator alongside them.
Despite a valiant challenge score and probably the most interesting character arc in the entire game, Tracer is simply outmatched by Fenrir who beasts the highest score. Stitch barely eeks out a win over Ted Cruz by a narrow margin to slide into the new District 7.
Our final three teams have been decided: District 12 with Wenya Zhu and Tetra, District 7 with Fenrir and Stitch, and District 8 with Susan and Kirby. 4 of these 6 will compete in the finale of Hybrid, but only one of these teams will compete intact. Which will it be?! Will they be able to defeat the final Hybrid team?! Stay tuned.
Round MVPs: 1-Wenya Zhu 2-Fenrir 3-Kirby
FYI: Round 9 + Finale Recap will be posted in a different format and will not contain the winners, those will be done during live reveal.

Round 9 & Finale Recap-
The final two rounds of this game involve three challenges. The time for social & strategic prowess is over and it was time for our final 3 districts to instead display their challenge prowess. Susan & Kirby make up District 8, Fenrir & Stitch make up District 7 and Wenya Zhu & Tetra make up District 12.
The first of the three challenges involved playing a game of Taboo that was strongly flavored and influenced by the Hunger Games. District 12, despite having had the best challenge performance on the last challenge were unable to clinch the deal and unfortunately had 2 costly mistakes. District 7 and 8 both had valiant performances, but a near perfect performance wasn't enough to keep District 8 safe. District 7, with a perfect score, secured their position in the finale.
As a result of not winning the challenge, District 12 and District 8 both had to participate in the Final Eliminator challenge which once again put their puzzle skills to the test. In a familiar, yet different version of an earlier challenge, it was time to see which of our two victors would reign supreme. Although less than 30 seconds separated Tetra and Wenya Zhu, a costly mistake in the grapes challenge was enough to send Wenya Zhu home. Susan and Kirby, although both having perfect scores, were separated by 10+ minutes and the end result showed that Kirby came out on top. Because of strong performances by both Kirby and Tetra, our final Hybrid team was formed.
The final challenge will test the knowledge, speed and accuracy of our final Districts, 7 represented by Fenrir & Stitch and 12 represented by Kirby & Tetra. Which district will reign supreme? Tetra, the only player to survive the Eliminator 3 times and the top scorer in 2 of them? Kirby, who has been strategically active throughout the entire game? Fenrir, whose dominating challenge prowess has gotten him far in this game? Or Stitch, who has only had to survive the Eliminator once due to a strong social game early on and strong challenge performances in the later game? Will a previously established team be better than a newly formed Hybrid team? Stay tuned as our live reveal will be happening in just a couple days to determine the winners of Hybrid: Hunger games!
