Bravo, dearies, for surviving to this day! As you may know, to work together to hunt animals (or even other Tributes), communication through signals can be invaluable. The District with the strongest ability to do this has a deserved advantage over the others. And remember: eyes bright, chins up, smiles on! Think of the sponsors!
In this challenge, you will each alternate being your pair's cluegiver and guesser. The goal is to guess 30 total keywords (or phrases) while avoiding any Taboo communication.
Rules:
1. This challenge will take place on Chatzy and will begin with the selection of your starting cluegiver.
2. On each turn, the player acting as cluegiver will be provided in their confessional with a keyword (or phrase), as well as 5 words (or phrases) that are Taboo.
3. Using any Taboo communication will earn a strike and result in moving on to the next keyword. Using any form of the 5 Taboo words is Taboo. Using parts of the keyword or Taboo words is also illegal (ex- "baseball" for "ball" or "sabbath" for "sabbatical"). Using codes or words that rhyme with the keyword is, similarly, Taboo.
4. The cluegiver may use any other words to hint at the keyword. There aren't restrictions on the amount of guesses that can be made, or the amount of words a cluegiver can use to give hints.
5. Once the guessing player has successfully identified the keyword, they will be provided with their keyword and Taboos and take the next turn as cluegiver.
6. Your time will stop after you complete the list of 30 words. The pair with the fewest strikes will win, with time taken acting as a tiebreaker.
7. After the challenge has started, players may individually use outside sources such as search engines or dictionaries, but may not discuss the outside source itself or direct their partner to use outside sources. For example, a tribute may not tell their District partner that the keyword is somewhere in this article.
