I think we should probably aim for about 5 PM PST tomorrow on Friday, though I might have to push that back an hour / hour-half depending on how long it takes for me to get situated.

That sounds good to me Stitch.
I will try and compile a document listing facts of various eliminated players which could potentially feature in this challenge. I think doing that beforehand will allow us to be quicker once we actually begin the challenge.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Unfortunately I won't have any time to gather anything myself until the start time because of work, but I'll see if I can manage to get anything done before then.

We can delay the start time if required. I should be pretty flexible in terms of time.
Just gotta make sure we can BANG BANG GO once we get the pyramidy thing.

Hey Stitch, what is your availability like for today. I unfortunately may not be here at 5pm pacific time, and a couple of hours later may be better for me?
But yeah, main thing probably to let me know what time is too late and I can do my best to be here before that.

I just got off of work right now, so I'll be fine anytime after like 5 PM PST. I would really not like to stay up past midnight. I can if need be, but I'd like to start at least 2 hours before then jic, so I'd say 10 PM PST is the latest I can start, though the sooner the better.

Okay hi! I can be here now for as long as required. Sorry about being late.
I guess it would probably be a good idea to plan out our approach to the challenge and go anything we feel the need to go over before starting. I have started writing up a summary of events in the game but am still early in the process of this. Might be worth working out how much we actually want to prepare beforehand.

For planning purposes, I had the thought that we could have one of us assigned to actually making the pyramid, and one of us assigned to information gathering. I'm not sure how evenly that would work out, but I figure it could be worth making sure we have an idea of what each of us are going to actually be doing once we start. As there's only one pyramid.

Oh, I was in the middle of making a spreadsheet with all the challenge results and votes. So far I've gone through all of the Eliminator and the first four votes and immunity challenges. Isn't making the pyramid just dragging the pictures over towards the arrow? Unless I'm misinterpreting what you mean. I was thinking more we each work on half of it unless there's some of them we'd already know off the top of our heads, then we could just fill those out first.

Let's go with your spreadsheet in that case. I think your idea to each work on half of it is probably best. I did worry that the pyramid could be almost puzzle-like, in that many spots could have multiple "fallen tributes" and it could be a matter of working out where everything fits together so that it all works out. BUT, I think that if we have one of us start from left and one of us start from the right (or something like that), then it should work out fine. I think I'm overthinking this.

I have also had the thought that there may be some information that is a bit more difficult to obtain.
Such as which members of each district pair had specific roles in each of the challenges. (For example the callers and drawers in A Lasting Impression, and the hard and easy puzzle assignments in Navigating the Arena). And also I don't have lists of all the different PM groups. Asking us about PM groups would be cruel though!

Yeah, I was thinking about that too, but I'm thinking most if not all of the info we need is probably going to be in the public threads already open. I won't however rule out any super oddly specific questions like which player said some obscure phrase or something. I'll let you know when I'm done with the spreadsheet.

Real quick, what spreadsheet program do you use, just Excel? For me I use LibreOffice. Also, how far along are you with studying?

I think I'd be ready to go.
I just have a post count of various players in the threads.
As for spreadsheet program, I usually just use excel. Is LibreOfffice difficult to get?

That's what I was thinking about getting to next actually but I was so exhausted from typing up the data from earlier, nice! LibreOffice is free, but you don't need to download it. I was just wondering what format I needed to send my spreedsheet in. We can share our notes through here if you press Reply and go to the top right of the box, there should be a button called "Add Attachment". I'm sending over my spreadsheet right now so you have it on hand too in case you need it. It's a bit messy but I think it's readable, but if there's anything you're super confused about I can clarify some things for you. Also if you're document's just a simple Word/Excel sheet I'd like to see that as well just in case I need to reference it. Attachments:hybrid_stats.xlsx (12.11 KB)

The spreadsheet is great btw. I think it's easy enough to read.
I would be ready to go when you are. Do you have any other questions?

Thanks! There's still a lot of threads in The Arena as well though, and some activity in the Eliminator as well, but I'd probably be completely drained if we tried to jot down each and every thread.
I don't think I have any questions. I think I'll be ready to start in about 5 or 10 minutes. I just want a little breather before we begin.

When you're both ready I'm going to let you know at what minute I intend to post the google drawing link at. I will try to do so near the start of that minute mark. The timestamp of my post will be your start time and your end time the timestamp at which your screenshot is posted.

Sounds good Stitch!
I do have some notes on who did/didn't post in the Arena threads, but it's in amongst a lot of information that is contained within your spreadsheet. I'll try to format it a bit better now while I wait.
But like you, I think that we're best off just starting once you're ready to go.

I tried taking a few notes and quickly got demoralized, lol. I'm good to start in about 4 minutes from now.
