Most esteemed Victor! You are here to compete for a second time in a game for the chance to prove you are the best of the best. By entering yourself into the Quarter Quell, you have already proven you have the heart to compete with the best of the best. It's time for you to claim your title!
You can use this confessional for any reason, whether its to vent or gather your thoughts away from your partner.
In addition, should you face the unfortunate need to enter the Eliminator, you will be requested to occasionally give challenge submissions here. Otherwise, use this as you see fit.
May the odds be ever in your favor!

We here at the Capitol, know it can be a bit...difficult to relate to people right off the bat. It's all such a wild adventure before the real games get started! I've decided to personally spare some of my time in order to help you get started. Chins up, smiles on!
1. How do you feel about your character choice? Do you feel like you can embody the spirit of the victor you've been chosen to portray? Or are you going to just make a whole name for this former winner? 2. Have you had a chance to read the rules? If not, I recommend doing that. If so, what do you think of the Eliminator element to this game? Does this intimidate you or are you excited to prove your skillz? 3. What do you think is the best approach to the first 48 hours? Are you gonna focus more on social bonds or are you going to try super hard in the challenge? What are you specifically hoping for in a partner? Do you want someone who matches you or balances you out? 4. What kinds of challenges are you hoping to see in this competition? Do you think there is a certain type you would be more suited for? Is there a type you are dreading to see? 5. What is the most exciting aspect of this game to you? What are you hoping to get out of this experience? Do you think you have a good shot at winning? What sorts of things do you think you can do to improve your odds to do just that?

I am only going to follow one player's confessional at a time. I will be VERY invested in this one player. Why should this player be you? Please note that I am a specbot that likes in depth discussion of relationships and strategy.
So why should you get my rose?

Hello and welcome to the game, after surviving my own hunger games I'm now super excited to watching you guys battle it out to the death.
I'm a bit of a betting man and I wanna place some early bets as to who is gonna win so I'd love to get to know some of you a bit more so here's some starter questions for you:
1) Do you have a starting game plan and if so, what is it? 2) How will you determine your rankings of other players? 3) If you win the game, what will you do with the money 4) If you could partner with any spectator who would it be? P.s there is a right answer 5) Tell me a joke/pun about your character

Round 2 questions:
1. You are now part of a District! Your District's theme is specifically centered around a specific niche in The Hunger Games. Do you feel like a part of you fits the theme, or is it mostly just a silly gimmick you don't really care much for? Why do you feel this way? 2. As you are in a District, that means you have been paired up with someone. Is this an ideal person for you to be with or do you have reservations? What makes you feel this way? 3. Challenge scores & ratings were put up yesterday. Were there any surprises or did it all pretty much unsurprise you for the most part? What specifically seemed interesting about these ratings? 4. PM groups were decided yesterday, meaning you now have half the amount of people to talk to as you are used to. Is this a relief? Or are you finding some difficulties in trying to now navigate a less open social field? Have you been utilizing your District forum to exchange communication with your partner for the half you are no longer allowed to talk to? (We hope you might at some point so specs can see what sorts of info you are exchanging!) 5. The next challenge is up and it is your first District Challenge for Immunity? How do you feel about your chances? Do you feel your partner will help or hinder your ability to complete it? Elaborate.
May the odds be ever in your favor <3

If this was actually just a fight to the death between the characters, who would win? How do you think you would do?

Post by Shadow on Feb 24, 2020 23:53:35 GMT
Um. I think I would have a very good chance in a situation where I would have to fight to the death because Shadow is just stupid busted.
Also. I am not ignoring your questions! I will answer them shortly, it's just a little frustrated with the lack of my partner showing up at all.

Spectator questions! Would love to hear from you guys about your pairings and how you're feeling 1) How much have you and your partner talked before? 2) What do you feel you bring to this partnership? 3) What should be your team name? The punnier the better 4) What twists would you like to see in this game? 5) What's 3 things you and your partner have in common?

Spectator questions! Results of the second challenge are in, Birdo and Tracer took the victory 1) How safe are you feeling right now? 2) If you had the only vote here and didn't need to worry about social politics, who would you send to the eliminator? 3) Are you going to focus on threats or on quieter players? 4) If you're sent to the eliminator, do you think you'd make it back out? 5) In theory, half of everyone you vote off will come back from the eliminator, how will you manage their anger with you voting them off?

Merry Late christmas to everyone and my sanity!
1. How do you feel about your character choice? Do you feel like you can embody the spirit of the victor you've been chosen to portray? Or are you going to just make a whole name for this former winner?
So this was my first character choice for a few reasons, 1. S:DI was my first game on Mish Mash and it's something I hold very fondly with myself despite the travesty that is known as UNO. 2. The person who played Shadow actually has become a really close friend of mine in real life, even though I haven't really been talking to Him much recently but that is also because life is so chaotic right now. I am going to try my best to live up to the character of Shadow but I do think I'll end up falling a little short.
2. Have you had a chance to read the rules? If not, I recommend doing that. If so, what do you think of the Eliminator element to this game? Does this intimidate you or are you excited to prove your skillz?
I have read the rules and double checked it again because of the eliminator element. It doesn't intimidate me at all since I have through Survivor: Greece with the redemption Island and the sorts. So I think I'll be able to hold my own against whom ever I may have to face in there.
3. What do you think is the best approach to the first 48 hours? Are you gonna focus more on social bonds or are you going to try super hard in the challenge? What are you specifically hoping for in a partner? Do you want someone who matches you or balances you out?
Well Considering when I first got into the game I had 24 versus the 48 hours that everyone had. I just tried my best socializing and the challenge. I knew I was going to be very low on everyone's list because of the late arrival of me.
4. What kinds of challenges are you hoping to see in this competition? Do you think there is a certain type you would be more suited for? Is there a type you are dreading to see?
I ironically want to see some flash games and the such where I can just repeat it over and over again to get better at it. Also I would like to see some sort of strategy game which I think will also be very fun to do so!
5. What is the most exciting aspect of this game to you? What are you hoping to get out of this experience? Do you think you have a good shot at winning? What sorts of things do you think you can do to improve your odds to do just that?
I think the most exciting thing is always having a partner to work with. Yes that partner could change multiple times over the course of the game, but to have someone you can constantly bounce idea off of each other I think will be a very nice addition to the game.
1) Do you have a starting game plan and if so, what is it?
Umm, I didn't have much of a starting game plan honestly. Since I didn't think i would actually get to play, but I was very happy when I found out that I could play. So I have been kind of just going with the flow at first. Right now I have been working on building some connections, which is a little different then normal survivor since no one is really giving me much depth in messages. So I'm hoping that will change.
2) How will you determine your rankings of other players?
Random List Generator
3) If you win the game, what will you do with the money
Hookers and Blackjack
4) If you could partner with any spectator who would it be? P.s there is a right answer
Well I just realized Gagigabber is a spectator so I immediately have to choose him. P.S Gagi visit me, I love you <3
5) Tell me a joke/pun about your character
I am Emo.
1. You are now part of a District! Your District's theme is specifically centered around a specific niche in The Hunger Games. Do you feel like a part of you fits the theme, or is it mostly just a silly gimmick you don't really care much for? Why do you feel this way?
It's because I live in Texas isn't it. I see you stereotyping me with agriculture.
2. As you are in a District, that means you have been paired up with someone. Is this an ideal person for you to be with or do you have reservations? What makes you feel this way?
Lol. Montreal has been extremely non existent
3. Challenge scores & ratings were put up yesterday. Were there any surprises or did it all pretty much unsurprise you for the most part? What specifically seemed interesting about these ratings?
I guess I am happy I wasn't ranked the lowest? It was nice to see the spread of the scores.
(We hope you might at some point so specs can see what sorts of info you are exchanging!)
Again Montreal has been non-existent. But everyone I have gotten to message in the game has been very nice to talk to !
5. The next challenge is up and it is your first District Challenge for Immunity? How do you feel about your chances? Do you feel your partner will help or hinder your ability to complete it? Elaborate.
(Post Challenge) I am surprised by how well we did.
1) How much have you and your partner talked before?
Lol.
2) What do you feel you bring to this partnership?
Umm. Activity?
3) What should be your team name? The punnier the better
Despair
4) What twists would you like to see in this game?
Can I eliminate my team mate already?
5) What's 3 things you and your partner have in common?
Lol.
1) How safe are you feeling right now?
I mean I know I am most likely going into the eliminator this round. So I am not that scared of Montreal so hopefully I can win and end up getting a better partner in the long run. It'll be nice to have someone I can strategize with and not feel like I am playing 2HG in magic.
2) If you had the only vote here and didn't need to worry about social politics, who would you send to the eliminator?
Probably District 2, as I have literally no contact with Tapu despite my best efforts in talking to them.
3) Are you going to focus on threats or on quieter players?
Probably Quieter players for the first round, but I think it might be best to start targeting stronger players soon.
4) If you're sent to the eliminator, do you think you'd make it back out?
I am very confident I will be able to make it out of the eliminator, I am not scared of Montreal. (INB4 I will get eliminated by Montreal)
5) In theory, half of everyone you vote off will come back from the eliminator, how will you manage their anger with you voting them off?
Umm. Depends. If the vote is public or not.

Spectator questions! So Tapu Lele v Wenya Zhu and Shadow v Montreal Impact 1) Did you know that you were going to be sent to the eliminator? 2) What do you feel is the main cause for you being here 3) If you win, who do you hope is the other Victor so you can be paired with them? 4) Describe the epic battle you're about to have with your former partner 5) If you make it back into the game, what will you do differently to stop yourself from going back into the eliminator?

Spectator questions! 2 Players down already, sponsors being thrown around and that was only round 1 1) Do you know where the sponsorships came from? 2) Are you happy with the players who came out of the eliminator and how are you now are going to deal with them? 3) If a twist allowed you to swap partners would you and if yes, who would you want as a new partner and why? 4) Looking ahead, the overall winners of this game will be determined by challenges, would you/have you thrown any challenges to reduce your threat level? 5) In the spectator area we have a thread specifically for the best and funniest quotes of the game, are there any quotes from your PMs that you feel deserve a place in this thread?

Round 3 Questions:
1. You are now participating in your third challenge. Are you liking the challenges so far or have you found them to be too easy? What sorts of challenges do you hope to see going forward? 2. Two Sponsors were played last round, WOW! That's intense. Do you think there are more Sponsors around for the taking? How did the Sponsor plays affect your game? 3. Have you given any thoughts to alliances? Which Districts do you see yourself aligning with? Are there any players you want to work with that you feel your partner might not? 4. Is Peeta Mellark the worst spec of all time for stealing half my questions?! 5. Provide a ranking of all of the players by who you trust to who you don't trust. (including your partner if you wish)

Spectator Questions! It appears that District 8 won that challenge, they must've really trained for it. 1) If a twist allowed you to send 2 individual players rather than a whole district to the eliminator, who would you send? 2) Do sponsors change how you talk to players before potentially voting for them? and is there anyone you suspect might have a sponsor? 3) Should there be a punishment for players who repeatedly ignore my questions and if so, what should it be? 4) Which District do you really want sent in this round, and which District (other than your own) would you want to protect this round? 5) In theory there's only 10 rounds in this game (2 players eliminated each round and final round being 4 players), which round of the game do you think is the right time to turn from quiet players to players who are threats to your game (either socially or challenge wise) 5b) Who are those threats to you?
