Most esteemed Victor! You are here to compete for a second time in a game for the chance to prove you are the best of the best. By entering yourself into the Quarter Quell, you have already proven you have the heart to compete with the best of the best. It's time for you to claim your title!
You can use this confessional for any reason, whether its to vent or gather your thoughts away from your partner.
In addition, should you face the unfortunate need to enter the Eliminator, you will be requested to occasionally give challenge submissions here. Otherwise, use this as you see fit.
May the odds be ever in your favor!

We here at the Capitol, know it can be a bit...difficult to relate to people right off the bat. It's all such a wild adventure before the real games get started! I've decided to personally spare some of my time in order to help you get started. Chins up, smiles on!
1. How do you feel about your character choice? Do you feel like you can embody the spirit of the victor you've been chosen to portray? Or are you going to just make a whole name for this former winner? 2. Have you had a chance to read the rules? If not, I recommend doing that. If so, what do you think of the Eliminator element to this game? Does this intimidate you or are you excited to prove your skillz? 3. What do you think is the best approach to the first 48 hours? Are you gonna focus more on social bonds or are you going to try super hard in the challenge? What are you specifically hoping for in a partner? Do you want someone who matches you or balances you out? 4. What kinds of challenges are you hoping to see in this competition? Do you think there is a certain type you would be more suited for? Is there a type you are dreading to see? 5. What is the most exciting aspect of this game to you? What are you hoping to get out of this experience? Do you think you have a good shot at winning? What sorts of things do you think you can do to improve your odds to do just that?

Hello and welcome to the game, after surviving my own hunger games I'm now super excited to watching you guys battle it out to the death.
I'm a bit of a betting man and I wanna place some early bets as to who is gonna win so I'd love to get to know some of you a bit more so here's some starter questions for you:
1) Do you have a starting game plan and if so, what is it? 2) How will you determine your rankings of other players? 3) If you win the game, what will you do with the money 4) If you could partner with any spectator who would it be? P.s there is a right answer 5) Tell me a joke/pun about your character

Christ, ten questions right off the mark.
Okay, so I might actually play the role of Wenya Zhu. She was all super headstrong and mostly well-meaning and all that, but she cocked it up a few times here and there. Kind of like Kaede from actual Danganronpa. Sort of. I don't know if I'm gonna stick with it. But she's got a slight british accent now so everyone thinks she's captain meme in disguise.
I have not yet read the rules and have no clue about anything that's taking place. Except for how I read the rules and was drowning in PMs.
Also, I've never played a hybrid game, so I've fuck all for strategy.
Please don't make me play social games. I hate reading people. LARGE SOCIAL GAME, you say? fuuuuck
I've got no shot at all here.

Okay, Peeta, here you go:
1. No fuckin plan, no fuckin' clue 2. Again, no fuckin' plan, and no idea how to rank people, just going to keep my toes off the shredder and I'll be fine 3. If I win the game, I'm gonna buy a 2020 Mashie 4. Yes 5. Man, I don't know shit about wenya, other than the fact that Zero I didn't just fuckin kill her

Round 2 questions:
1. You are now part of a District! Your District's theme is specifically centered around a specific niche in The Hunger Games. Do you feel like a part of you fits the theme, or is it mostly just a silly gimmick you don't really care much for? Why do you feel this way? 2. As you are in a District, that means you have been paired up with someone. Is this an ideal person for you to be with or do you have reservations? What makes you feel this way? 3. Challenge scores & ratings were put up yesterday. Were there any surprises or did it all pretty much unsurprise you for the most part? What specifically seemed interesting about these ratings? 4. PM groups were decided yesterday, meaning you now have half the amount of people to talk to as you are used to. Is this a relief? Or are you finding some difficulties in trying to now navigate a less open social field? Have you been utilizing your District forum to exchange communication with your partner for the half you are no longer allowed to talk to? (We hope you might at some point so specs can see what sorts of info you are exchanging!) 5. The next challenge is up and it is your first District Challenge for Immunity? How do you feel about your chances? Do you feel your partner will help or hinder your ability to complete it? Elaborate.
May the odds be ever in your favor <3

If this was actually just a fight to the death between the characters, who would win? How do you think you would do?

1. Does anyone have a terribly strong opinion about masonry? My opinion is that I just hope it holds while I’m inside it, and that I don’t get crushed by spontaneous building collapses. 2. Tapu’s cool. Interesting that they was near the bottom of my list, but at the same time, large portions of the list were explicitly left random. I had a message history that developed with them after I submitted the list, so at least this works out in my favor. 3. What. I didn’t even see them. I should go check. I probably sucked giant bollock. 4. Man, I couldn’t even get to all 23 others, so having a restricted field is probably for the better. And it’s a great excuse for me not to have to talk to Ted Cruz much after I more or less imploded into a mod warning over that. 5. For this last challenge, I felt like I wrote a bloody fucking essay and that Tapu just wrote “yeah” or “no” as the situation fit. Like, I did all the work, cut me a break dude.

And you know Effie would win that fight straight out. We’d just die due to wacky arena tricks, and the game is over.

Spectator questions! Would love to hear from you guys about your pairings and how you're feeling 1) How much have you and your partner talked before? 2) What do you feel you bring to this partnership? 3) What should be your team name? The punnier the better 4) What twists would you like to see in this game? 5) What's 3 things you and your partner have in common?

Spectator questions! Results of the second challenge are in, Birdo and Tracer took the victory 1) How safe are you feeling right now? 2) If you had the only vote here and didn't need to worry about social politics, who would you send to the eliminator? 3) Are you going to focus on threats or on quieter players? 4) If you're sent to the eliminator, do you think you'd make it back out? 5) In theory, half of everyone you vote off will come back from the eliminator, how will you manage their anger with you voting them off?

Spectator questions! So Tapu Lele v Wenya Zhu and Shadow v Montreal Impact 1) Did you know that you were going to be sent to the eliminator? 2) What do you feel is the main cause for you being here 3) If you win, who do you hope is the other Victor so you can be paired with them? 4) Describe the epic battle you're about to have with your former partner 5) If you make it back into the game, what will you do differently to stop yourself from going back into the eliminator?

Spectator questions! 2 Players down already, sponsors being thrown around and that was only round 1 1) Do you know where the sponsorships came from? 2) Are you happy with the players who came out of the eliminator and how are you now are going to deal with them? 3) If a twist allowed you to swap partners would you and if yes, who would you want as a new partner and why? 4) Looking ahead, the overall winners of this game will be determined by challenges, would you/have you thrown any challenges to reduce your threat level? 5) In the spectator area we have a thread specifically for the best and funniest quotes of the game, are there any quotes from your PMs that you feel deserve a place in this thread?

Round 3 Questions:
1. You are now participating in your third challenge. Are you liking the challenges so far or have you found them to be too easy? What sorts of challenges do you hope to see going forward? 2. Two Sponsors were played last round, WOW! That's intense. Do you think there are more Sponsors around for the taking? How did the Sponsor plays affect your game? 3. Have you given any thoughts to alliances? Which Districts do you see yourself aligning with? Are there any players you want to work with that you feel your partner might not? 4. Is Peeta Mellark the worst spec of all time for stealing half my questions?! 5. Provide a ranking of all of the players by who you trust to who you don't trust. (including your partner if you wish)

4b) Gonna take a stand here, is Peeta Mellark the best spec for giving the true hard hitting but also entertaining questions, not just every round but every stage of every round? 4c) Who would come out of the eliminator alive, me or Effie Trinket?

This is the fourth challenge I'm doing. I was thrown into the eliminator after all.
I'm not sure if 49 is good for Mexican Train Dominoes, but I'd like to think since I won half my games that it can't be terrible.
I didn't even notice that sponsors were a gameplay feature. I've no idea how to find them or what they can do. I guess that wasn't spelled out terribly well.
Peeta Mellark is probably the best spec. Good specs ask questions!

Spectator Questions! It appears that District 8 won that challenge, they must've really trained for it. 1) If a twist allowed you to send 2 individual players rather than a whole district to the eliminator, who would you send? 2) Do sponsors change how you talk to players before potentially voting for them? and is there anyone you suspect might have a sponsor? 3) Should there be a punishment for players who repeatedly ignore my questions and if so, what should it be? 4) Which District do you really want sent in this round, and which District (other than your own) would you want to protect this round? 5) In theory there's only 10 rounds in this game (2 players eliminated each round and final round being 4 players), which round of the game do you think is the right time to turn from quiet players to players who are threats to your game (either socially or challenge wise) 5b) Who are those threats to you?

Well, I’d send a Mimpact sure sure. And if you asked me yesterday, I’d have sent home 12, but now I’m not sure.
I ignore about half your questions, just cause I don’t have a solid answer. Don’t take it personally.

So it looks like Pikachu is pretty frustrated with Donald, and we're putting together a plan to vote either 11 or 6, depending on if Pikachu thinks they can beat Donald, or if Donald will once again refuse to submit. I think I have Ted Cruz in on this plan.

So I royally cocked everything up. It’s all bollocks from here. I’m pretty sure I’m going to the eliminator again, because I had the balls to offer a plan to people.
And if I come out of the eliminator alive, I’m sure I’ll be public enemy number one.

Post by Wenya Zhu on Mar 3, 2020 1:56:05 GMT
Yeah, I royally fucked up, I can guarantee a vote where I’ll be auto selected by immunity, and then Mimpact is up by popular vote.
And if that happens, I have to resign. I can’t just tear down Tetra’s game by beating her in the eliminator—what kind of fucked up penance would that be, to have her pay for my violations?
I can’t play this eliminator if I end up in it.
I’d probably get shunned by the out of game community if I did such a dick thing.
