Yeah the challenges aren't perfect, but they're at least a break from the norm and that's worth studying. We do still appreciate the feedback though <3 Tbh I disagree, I feel like it was a great eliminator challenge because it allowed for interesting dynamics between partners, as seen with Birdo and Tracer. Also it was super in theme with game of Hunger Games The concept of the game is not inherently bad, but the issue with all WIFOM games is in order for them not to just be well WIFOM, you need to be able to actively negotiate and make deals with people rather than making mostly blind choices based upon how people might feel. The fact that was actively discouraged made it so you basically were shooting blind with maybe a little strategy in it. Not to mention there isn't much of a chance to re-evaluate what little strategy you do choose when it's a one and done system instead of having multiple lives when it came to the hunting thing.

Overall though it's a challenge that even people who aren't traditionally strong at challenges can succeed in and there also is some strategy, so I like that aspect. It reminds me of a challenge from The Genius.

Oh it's gonna be like that is it Wenya? I understand why people were put off by you. Do not strongarm me girly, I won't stand for it. And in fact, I will make the opposite choice to being threatened. I have no words

Zod's overplanning is hilarious to me. I want all of his plans to fail.
Wenya talking to Susan that way is especially bad because Susan is basically the swing vote here, and 3 was talking about potentially throwing the challenge before they heard about that alliance.
Susan is just in such a weird spot though, it doesn't make sense for her to vote off the people she legit doesn't like so it might be weirdly not punished.
10 might be screwed by being the people in that alliance that Susan has the fewest objections to partnering with. Or maybe Susan will side against them so that she can get a partner she actually likes, sending either 7 or 3, but then that would kind of put her in a minority. Very weird situation all around

The very weird outcome here would be if the 3/7/Susan alliance wins out on the vote and sends one of 4/10/12 into eliminator, making one of those people Susan's new partner. Then we have 3/7 vs. whoever's left of 4/10/12, with a pair of Susan and someone from the alliance she doesn't want to be a part of. It would be fun if both of them couldn't agree on who to vote for after that.

Yeah that would be very fun. That's aldo why it's kind of a bad move by Susan to immediately leak the alliance Wenya told her about because she could become a member of that alliance as soon as next round. In normal Survivor, leaking makes sense, but in this case, it was more of an emotional reaction to Wenya than calculated strategy

So dang pumped Teddy Dear and Stitch won!!! Heck yeah. Now go after 3 or 4 my dudes! This has surely gotta be a District 3 vote this round, like everyone needs to take a step back, forget about alliances, realise that the endgame here isn't a Jury but instead a Challenge, see that D3 are massive challenge threats and take them out Nearly every round they have been 1st or 2nd I think if 3 make it through this round it'll be down to Zods social game, he's like the Boston Rob of this game

I both think Susan is smart and not smart here.
She's smart because siding with 3 & 7 this round (assuming 7 doesn't flip), she guarantees that she gets a good partner from district 4 in either Gilly or Kirby. In addition, depending on how the next challenge shakes out, she can decide to flip with Kirby/Gilly against 3 & 7 presuming 3 isn't the outright vote next time. This pretty much guarantees her a final 3 spot so long as the votes stay with her district. From there it's just a matter if she + Kirby/Gilly can beat D10 and D12 in consecutive challenges. Fascinating stuff.
I think she's not smart because like D3 is and has been the de facto challenge threats all game and gambling that they won't immunity run the remainder of the game is ultra risky.
We shall see if the gamble pays off here.
In addition, so long as D10 and D12 are not voted out this round, we will officially have more Hybrid than OG teams starting next round which is exciting!

...and then District 3 votes for District 10 and all of my thoughts about Susan's choice slowly fades.

Having a D3 partner is a double edged sword for Susan, they might target her next round to try to fully eliminate OG D3 but also she might get a very strong partner to see her through to the final
As for everyone else, realistically they want to take out D3 here, especially if you're aligned with Susan but not D3

...and then District 3 votes for District 10 and all of my thoughts about Susan's choice slowly fades. District 7 is between voting D3 and D4, so District 3's vote won't stay there. It looks like Ted is leaning toward a D4 vote, so I'm predicting that D3 and Susan follow suit.

Zod is great to watch but I feel like everyone sees him as a strategic mastermind and I dont think he is. He made a big move last round and theres a decent chance he leaves the very next round. If he just voted out district 12 last round, he would still get credit from Susan for saving her and he would still be in good with the 3479 alliance, and I dont see any way where he leaves.
