This round we lost Shadow, Coco Pommel, Pikachu & Donald.
Its sad to see you out of the game, but welcome to the Capitol, where you get a seat in the lap of luxury while watching your favorite people kill each other! In addition, we ask that all former players in the game not directly interact with the current players, please ferry all questions through the mods. Let us know if you have any questions.

I had tried telling District 3 about how slimy District 4 was being but I guess they just did not want to believe me

D3, D4, D7 and D9 have been in an alliance from pretty early on but we are not sure how long it will hold up. You can check out the round recaps for a bit more detail on it

The best confessionals to follow imo are Zod, River, Fenrir, and maybe Stitch.
I'm not a fan of Zod's negativity, but it's really interesting watching him think. He's in a tough position after winning two challenges but he recognizes it and is thinking through his options instead of blindly trusting in his alliance.

Zod is honestly very bright and thinking through literally everything. It's kind of great to watch.

I had tried telling District 3 about how slimy District 4 was being but I guess they just did not want to believe me you should go read zod's confessional if you want to see what his thoughts were on the other end of the that interaction.

I really enjoy that four rounds in, only River and Ted have successfully figured out the sponsor clue in the banner. And by that I mean Stitch and Shuichi by proxy. I wonder if it's just known by everyone at this point but they don't care?

I feel like other players would at least try to get the sponsor if they knew it was there

This is gonna be a spicy round. I can't wait to see how this all shakes out. While we wait I'd like to take a moment to describe having a "social" game in a nutshell: Hey everyone, apologies for not being on much today. Have been busy helping out Grandparents for spring break. Will get back to you all tomorrow. Honestly, the game's been pretty quiet. I've been pushing messages out, but not getting much back, and the online list seems to confirm that. I imagine once the challenge meets its expiry, everyone will be a bit more talkative. So if I was an outsider looking in, which I am, I would say Wenya made at least two social faux pas here: 1. Ulysses clearly made a reference to being busy helping Grandparents. There wasn't any acknowledgement by Wenya Zhu in response to the Grandparent comment or lack of any personal response. Although there is a response and its fine for all intents and purposes, this is an opportunity to maybe reach out to Ulysses and ask one on one to make sure everything is okay. Spending a spring break with Grandparents to help them out isn't something worth brushing off and not asking about. This is a game where players want to feel something emotionally and want to make connections, and missing an obvious chance to make that connection shows that its not a response to really respond on a human level, but just to "show activity" and give a resposne. it's probably well intended, but totally misses the mark on making a connection. 2. Rather than just respond with, "take your time, hope things are good, have a good night", Wenya launches into talking about how no one's really talking and that people only talk during the voting phase. It's like Wenya wants to have a conversation with Ulysses, and expects a response. In addition, Wenya obsereves the "online list" to confirm what she is saying. It shows she's more interested in seeing who is around then sending a nice message to someonw who isn't. Again, it's not a bad response, but its odd and might be offputting to someone who is like "uhhh are they watching to see if I'm online to talk to?" It's publicly available for all players in game to see and quite possibly is off-putting and awkward to want to address. People have lives, they aren't always around to respond to you every second you are online. Time zones exist. To me part of this response feels like something best left in a confessional to discuss rather than say out loud. All in all, I think this is a well intended conversation, but I don't think it's going to be seen well. Or I'm just looking to overanalyze something to fill the time until this extended deadline ends. Whatever floats your boat <3

Quick update on the challenge (just because I know it's a bit slow right now):
Only half of the people in game have gone. Districts 8 and 10 are the only ones to not have anyone go yet, and 5 of the 8 people who have the harder series have finished, whereas the easier series has only had 3 of 8 go so far. Fenrir and River Song both aren't going to compete until very close to the deadline (both have indicated around 3-4 hours prior). Kirby is going "tonight" whatever that means, and District 10 is the only district not to have decided who is doing what so far.
And now you are caught up.

Update on challenge: 6 players still have yet to go.
D8 has made designations but neither team member has submitted. D10 has not made designations (in 3 days!!!) and also have not submitted. Both Fenrir and River Song have indicated they will go later.
Currently District 4 is leading this challenge. Given Shuichi's score, the only districts that can beat them are District 3, 8 or 10.
