I'm interested that folks were so into District 9's drawing I'm surprised you weren't! In particular I thought the one that got second over them was noticeably much worse. But obviously exact proportions were not on the scoring rubric, and I guess we thought they would be.

But obviously exact proportions were not on the scoring rubric, and I guess we thought they would be. Yeah it was more important to me that the details were accurate, and missing eye color, fangs, a land mass, and having the arms looped the wrong way felt very inaccurate. At least compared to 3 that got all that right. District 7, while beyond fucked up proportions, got everything right except for eyelashes and the shape of Purple Star. Well and Orange Man is floating

I can't believe Zod actually thinks 12 was being serious about roleplaying A Quiet Place.

Given that Zod has his threat level chart in his confessional
Why aren't they sending a team with high threat into the eliminator, they could easily fob it off with some reason of bad communication or something
District 3 have 2 choices now, double down on being challenge threats and keep themselves safe or have this round be the last round in which they have the ultimate power and throw some challenges to reduce threat level
For me, if this was the last round for a while in which I was in complete control, I'd definitely use this opportunity to take out someone I don't want to be competing against
Especially given that this round I could have the whole district eliminated and not have to worry about either of them coming back
Anyone have any thoughts on this, agree/disagree?

Likewise, this whole twelve situation, its very risky talking shit about a player who you're not sending to the eliminator nor are you trying to get voted off
All it takes is someone to tell twelve that you're talking shit about him and he'll play hard next challenge and send you to the eliminator

It seems like zod is really banking on a partner swap before he makes a move

Shuichi has done something interesting and told Shadow that talk is he's going. Shadow in turn hates the "safe vote" plan. Shuichi is hoping this will stir Shadow up to shake things up. This is actually getting interesting folks! We have movement!

River Song also wants to plant the seeds of doubt to Susan about Gilly/Kirby. Idk how successful it is, but District 1 is here to play and not just be a sheep. Thats ultimately, more interesting than the plan to just boot 5 and 6 with no discussion.

If you don't wanna be a safe vote, have a better social game

I'm looking forward to the round when all the easy boots are gone because everyone feels super confident in their alliance groups but I feel like each district has a slightly different alliance group
It'll be at that point they'll be needing the easy boots for support on the votes

Fairly confident unless something changes, next round is going to be super interesting.

The timer is set for 11 AM PST.

Post by Effie Trinket on Mar 8, 2020 6:33:35 GMT
We've calculated it. Currently the timer will hit midnight in 1.5 hours, leaving "11 hours" on the timer. Whenever the time jumps forward, it will be 11 hours from whatever time that jumps to (i.e. midnight is really 1am & 1am + 11 = 12pm) etc etc.
The timer should be correct as soon as the actual clocks jump forward.

I could never trust that timer anyway, it always seemed to end half an hour earlier than it was supposed to when I was viewing it.

I'm skeptical it will update based on the coding of the timer... ( <div id="timer" role="banner"> <countdown class="countdown" title="Voting Time!" timestamp="March 8 2020 12:00 PM -8" message="Results upcoming!"/> </div> ...since it specifically is calculating based on GMT -8. That being said, even if it does autocorrect to noon PDT you specifically told players that the deadline was noon PST.
